WU TANG FOREVER.
Glad you stated it took you 2 years as I talked kids into doing something like this while I am still able to help them as I was 59 lol we cleared the 1/2 acre they got on tax seized they bought a shell home that was a repo and came fully framed added a 14x14 to give them a decent kitchen my brother and I helped kids run power from pole into home , I ran hot and cold pipes but plumber needed for sewer and grey water line, they hung insulation and now saving for their sheetrock, when they started this son was 21 daughter 18 they are now 20 and 22 going on 23. Working at Pizza Hut and doing everything cash as they go only went to bank for shell. The bathroom almost complete and they plan to move in to home in March and finish kitchen. Home will be paid off in 2024. If my autistic son and daughter can do it anyone who has a drive to own their own home, work hard and can remain dedicated to doing it can. Dedication is they key element

You ran the electrical from the utility pole? Isn’t that terrifyingly dangerous? I’ll wire a panel but no way am I touching the pole. Also how do you find tax seized property, I may look into this even though I already bought my first home for when I want to expand.

This has to be the fanciest, most spacious, and most luxurious Tiny House I've ever seen. O_O
This has been one of my favourite series to watch since you started with it. I'm almost sad that it is finished, but I'm excited for what is to come with your shop renovation.

This is the first of your videos I have seen. I was so exhausted by the end that I felt as though I had done the building myself! I love everything about the design, the workmanship, and the materials you chose. Love that patio with the fire pit. You guys are awesome.
Amazing craftsmanship...wishing my mother a "not so tiny" house. Unfortunately there aren't enough contractors you can trust out here without getting ripped off. This looks like the perfect mother-in-law suite. 🍻
Watching the creation of your Tiny House has been so interesting, thank you for covering all the various stages of the development, you will have to hold a virtual house warming party for all your subscribers, I am also looking forward to watching your new workshop build.

Wow you guys have done an amazing job on this home!
Perkins Brothers helping out , thats is always helpful
I am amazed that people call this a tiny house. It might be small, but it definitely isn't tiny. Still, I liked the montage, very cool to see all the steps without making it unnecessarily long.
The PBB did like an hour long video on Jamie's barn build and a 2 hour video on the Modern Getaway. I commented about how crazy those must have been to upload. I'm guessing yours was tough to edit, but easier to upload. This is really cool Johnny. It's fun to see it all come together. Thanks for the effort!

Yea I'm considering doing a 2 hour version if this video performs OK. I don't want to sink the editing time in if no one is going to watch it, hah!

@@craftedworkshop I totally get that as I edit tutorial videos for my job that practically no one watches (and then they just email questions that were answered in the video). I'll watch your 2 hour video a couple thousand times so you don't feel like you wasted the effort...lol.
You had some good backup with the Perkins Bros. Amazing dudes.
This was phenomenal. What a job you did, makes me realize how much WORK it would be to build from scratch 👀 Great follow through to finish and thanks for sharing this‼💯🥰
Siete degli specialisti fuori dal comune, almeno per quello che mi riguarda, mettendovi a confronto di come si costruiscono le case dalle mie parti, bravissimi.
superb vids in every way ... thanks for making this big one and putting it together to rewatch

In step 7 they drill some large holes at the bottom of the roof. What are those for? I thought for airflow, but they cover them up on the inside
@techmon88
Жыл бұрын
Not covered up, on the inside are baffles that direct the air to cool the underside of the roofdeck, so it can be kept cooler and then the insulation is under the baffles.

Yea, there's a ridge vent, it's just fairly low profile. Thanks!
loved the video. Question; an AC unit is right above the closet; what is the risk of dampening the wood of the closet and dew forming in the closet?
I love the Perkins crew
Awesome video. Loved the design and materials selected. Is this tiny house for you?
Loved the video! Are you going to have a finish tour video?
Hey man. I was looking at building a tiny house myself and was wondering how much this building costed you?
Curious about the total cost, just the home, not things like well and septic, etc.
love this! Do you have a cost breakdown for the house? I'm looking at saving up and doing something like this in the next 5-7 years.
Do a tiny brick house next (Takes two DECADES)
I'm curious about the zoning, permitting, etc, process.
can you share the cost? Would greatly appreciate it as I am building a 800 sqft house end of this year all from scratch... trying to keep it under 100k or 120k if needed.
Good
This was really interesting to watch. I own a couple acres of land and I'm considering building a tiny/small home on it. The only thing is I'd have to hire help, don't really have a lot of friends who would be able to come out and help me for months on end. My thought is to stretch it out over a few years, starting with the foundation and building it up from there each year. It sounds fun, but your video makes it clear that it would also be a ton of work. Do you think it's worth all the time and effort as a single man who would have to hire extra help, or would you advise just buying a pre-built tiny/small home and transporting it to the land? Any thoughts on this are appreciated and keep up the great work.
This was amazing, is it possible for you to do a break down? on materials and tools? I’m thinking of buying land, and building a small home, mean while we save up for a bigger new build on the same land.
Sweet build, and even sweeter video editing. I have to wonder what this unit cost without labor.
New subber....amazing build....fine workmanship - looks like lots of experience and skills, fine, upscale materials.....definitely want to see a final video....just wondering who is the lucky person that gets to live in this masterpiece....
Just curious about what took two years to build??. I am assuming it was saving finance as you go and working by self much of the time??? In all ... an excellent job. Thumbs up, Bloke!! 😁
Having followed with the episodes as they were released, it does not feel like it took that long! XD
عمل جميل ورائع جدا
Should have included the time lapse in the same scale for the HOA and Permit departments - doubled the viewing time :P

Hah!
I would have made it 8-12 wider I would love to install a underground above Ceiling heating and cooling system in a small closet
3:59 is that one of Perkins bros? Btw, house is anything but tiny... yes, they are, whole crew - bah, it's easy for you having them on speed dial...
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
You guys are clearly professional builders! The average person definitely doesn't posses the tools or ability to do this, i worked building homes with a crew smaller then this! You guys are pros good job, what was the cost of this build minus the labor?
Super cool. Was great fun watching! But this is not a tiny house.
I loved watching this video. I have one question. Why did you build this tiny house? For a relative? To rent as an AirBnB?
Nice work! Cool video. Also, is it me or we can see one of the Perkins brothers helping you with the framing?
How exactly does one acquire the knowledge to bring together all these various components?
Pretty good. Next time don't have a blind guy design it
How much did it cost to build the whole thing? I would love to have something like this built for me
Sir how much the total cost? Thank you
Looks like it's going to be slightly more than tiny. In our jurisdiction, they classify 700 sq. ft. or less as tiny. This looks like it's gonna be a bit more. Looks habitable from what I see of the finished product. Very nice Job done, and well thought-out planning-wise. An accomplishment you can be proud of.
@craftedworkshop
