I’d say everyone should at least try every skill tree once before deciding what they want to main. That way they can find what abilities suit their playstyle best, then once you’ve found a comfortable build that works for you, stick with it and master it.

Mainly going kendo, the speed is just pressure shift. Kendo is also the most balanced build in the game rn with a higher skill cap than speed, hakuda, or kido

You can go straight PURE kendo and speed if you absolutely wanted to, no sbs no essences, and be just fine if you’re actually good at the game or even halfway decent and know the parry button is. ​@@chickenrox8926 Kendo with pressure shift has always been in the meta, there's a reason why pressure shift gets a nerf every 2 patches. With low reiatsu costs, high damage potential, extra posture on top of high posture damaging moves with access to the best skillboxes in the game, kendo is currently meta due to nearly being untouched. Being the most balanced doesn't make it less meta. There's a reason why every build in ranked is either speed or kendo, with a small touch of hakuda after nerfs and kido

honestly kendo speed is solid, pressure shift admittedly being a bit nuts. id say it just need to apply only a blockbreak effect with no ragdoll and deal like maybe 1/5th a bar and itd be perfectly balanced. i personally dont go hybrids though, prob cause im weird but they did just nerf hybrid stuff by making it so you can only get skillbox skills in the tree you invest the most in. also if people arnt braindead, no this isnt meta. you require a fair amount of skill to land a decent amount of the skills, what truely creates the meta is the shikai/volt/res.

fusion essence + discord max buff = 60% more damage. It does NOT matter. Your m1s will do 70% of a bar each

@@66ixty9ine You can do the M2 version of fusion essence and get a 30% damage buff in exchange for 30% of your hp but since you don't get put in combat you can just run and heal it back in 10 seconds and then have fusion essence buff the rest of the game. So do your research your ignoramus. It is one of THE most no-skill 1v1 builds currently in the game.

You clearly don’t fucking use medic correctly at all if you actually think it’s necessary to do combos with it in order to be good 😂 Fusion essence and discord both exist, giving it massive damage buffs in the first place, you can use any mode with it, and be completely fine, like blood would be best, Starkk res would be best because it’s just plain the most braindead res to use and works with literally everything, and you’d just work everyone around you if, you know, WERE ACTUALLY GOOD AT THE GAME

Kendo dmg was already higher than pre nerf hakuda along with evis and sonta carrying the tree due to wonky hitboxes sometimes they have no range other times they have godly range

I'm not, if they buff something they usually nerf it right after because people will complain. Unseen Blade doesn't have superarmor anymore 😭 They just should've never buffed it.

The Kyoka clone is nowhere NEAR better than old dagger crit, that shit could work with any bankai, which meant blood, ice, ink, fire, lightning, anything. While the kyoka clone is oppressive and pretty good, you can kill it in like 2 m1s, so its not as bad

And "what im getting at" is that his build has been nothing but buffed, and has always been meta. So saying other people should stop switching their builds when they get nerfed is a bit funny because he has literally never had a reason to outside of the mortal ties and flower passage nerfs that both got reverted 😭🙏
