U could easily block all of the moves and ur posture wouldnt pass 4 bars. It was pretty underwhelming.granted it is a common so i wouldnt expect it to be insane but then again lightning exists

The best move imo is delayed death. The autogrip and the delayed damage is just so nice, and the ticks add up over time.

Try out Rising Shot (or continue doing Catching Dragon) after Shadow Pull, they allow true confirms into the air unlike Tora Reach/Formless Suplex

Speed was always good, i was Full speed before the buffs and went from a 6/63 record (was using hakuda) to a 130 and 69 record (prebuffed speed). now its just better and i never ran below a bar of rei (i spammed m1's and ppl couldnt do nothing about it LOL)

we just need something to go for except ranked

I played kendo since type souls first release and recently made a shunko berserk build and ngl it’s the easiest build I’ve made and I climbed to Lower master with it pretty quickly. I’m gonna make a Quincy hakuda now and see how well I do but hakuda imo is not that hard of a tree to play id say all the trees are pretty well balanced except kido obviously.

As a speed main since first release, speed is in a really good spot now, the new skill box black claw is all speed needed to patch some weaker build variations and the rei buff is decent, you still run out of rei if u braindead spam but now it's not as bad if you play smart.

you see the problem about that is that it does alot of posture dmg (waterfall dance) and your able to zip across the map in mach 2 speed

@@Vxquishedwaterfall dance posture is abt it for buffs tho, time cut got slight dmg buff but that’s 60 speed. the rest of speed is untouched so it really doesn’t play any different from how it used to just brings it a little bit more in line with the rest of the trees

@@Vxquished waterfall is cancelable with an M1 or other frame 1 moves, since the hyper armor isn't frame 1, simply stay calm since the wind up is pretty slow and you can just hold block and s hold and normal dash out, unless the moves is done on top of you its almost never guaranteed to block break it's a good change but it's still easily defended since your move speed in waterfall is not increased. Now add even more defensive options like flashsteping, parry, I-frames and counters and it becomes easier to defend. This buff was needed since you could literally block 4 hits from it and dash out from a 50 sp move that's supposed to be our "strongest" move, and keep in mind speed has zero true blockbreaks in it's kit even with sbs so this just rounds out speeds kit and gives us a higher chance to block break people, doesn't it feel like cheeks not having a guaranteed blockbreak in tora in the air so you can hit stun and guarantee a mix up after the nerf, it's been like that for speed since the first speed nerf when fast fang and floating used to block break, it feels like ur missing something from ur kit.

medic has a 60 sp move but you never see it like ever (Soul Link) but the problem is I feel like medic needs just more combat skills in general medic and self heal should be m1 and m2 skill type beat same for tether and leap so many of the support moves take up alot of slots if your farming with friends so your using a pvp support build and even then combat medic isnt that viable unless you have some typa self heal cause of there not being enough combat moves for medics in general cause there could be some fire ones like maybe you steal thier hp after grabbing them or something like that legit anything medic is such a fun skill tree and probably my main one but still it just needs a general rework.

idk how to feel, shadow snake was a better move for shadow’s posture pressure based kit, but amaterasu/universe pull is just an objectively cooler move 😭🙏

Speed went from annoying to fight with crazy zoning and quick combos but balanced or a little under balance to needing a nerf with that mad pressure and zoning with quick ass combos that actually do stupid dmg now

??? the only damage buff speed got was on time cut, and the only thing that got buffed with its pressure was waterfall dance. you might get caught by waterfall dance a little more often now but other than that its relatively the same as it was before the buffs

⁠^ yeah it’s legit the same. rei cost was reduced too so more speed moves can be used but if you spam and have no rei regen, trust it still goes down just as much. waterfall didn’t need THAT much posture dmg imo but it’s fine still can avoid it

remove free dmg moves / no windup moves from the game (benihime z and c, starrk z, duality white z, etc) it encourages a run around and chip hp playstyle

too bad it doesn't pull now either cause its bugged or they decided to gut the move within just a couple hours of release.

I think the game needs further progression. Once you get mode and vizard/vasto/letz, there’s literally nothing else to do. And ranked is the only thing that gives good rewards for the most part, raiding rewards are so bad it’s not even worth doing them.

hakuda is prob in its weakest state ever, and this is coming from a guy who dont like to fight hakuda, i will say i dont like this or that, but i can take a step back, and give a genuine look at things, and i can say, hakuda is pretty weak, they have zero air guard breaks now, there essence does the same damage as vampire X (phage) yes, i have tested it, im preying for the sake of all the hakuda players out there, that the rework comes out this update, and another thing i kinda just wanted to talk about, kendo ultra skill, im concerned that when the add it, it will kill pressure shift kendo, cause when you use kendo long enough, you know there are two very different version of kendo, mortal ties kendo and pressure shift kendo, and if the ultra skill is 50 kendo, pressure shift kendo dies, anyway, great video

The tora reach not guardbreaking in the air in my opinion is just stupid because now people that know how to play would just dash out of any moves since their not guardbreak and deathflair has a wind up and negation 2 first hit doesnt guardbreak so they can escape, i feel like its just because they wanna make ground hakuda more worth it but destroying air hakuda by doing that isnt fair because people like me that enjoy air hakuda more because its just satisfying and actually require brain work since alot of move takes over or end my air combos.
