I came in because Randall Park I loved in the interview as kim jong un and so I watched fresh off the boat cuz him but then fell in love with Constance Wu and the rest of the cast ..they're all so good but constance is my stand out .. love her

Glitterpop785 Yea it was dumb, bad for PR. Her attempt to make it better afterward wasn't great either, her statement's part about "believing women" sounded tone deaf in a way. But reading about this later on, she and other cast mates thought the show was going to be cancelled at the time since the show was moved to Friday. A move that usually precedes cancellation. Naturally they all started looking for other work. She said she found a dream role that would test her as an actress. She said it was a small project that wasn't even going to pay a lot but she just loved the part. Fast forward to FOTB's renewal and her bad reaction and bad decision to air it publicly on social media. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I then learn about how Constance still takes acting classes. To learn, stay sharp, and she just loves acting that much. That small lower money project she took but had to back out on because of FOTB's renewal was really out of love of acting. Girl just really loves to act and now has to give up a dream role. Yea her reaction was bad but I'm ok with it after learning the context of the situation. Plus she apologized to and are cool with her cast members and everyone at Fresh.

she’s probably gone through more than a lot of us have, as in hardships like general life hardships. shes shared a lot of her past. she and the other cast members thought that the show was cancelled. so she moved on like any other professional and landed her dream role. she said herself that the role wasnt very big and it didnt pay much but she really wanted to do it to challenge herself. i mean its messed up that she tweeted about it but it was a mistake. but it was a forgivable mistake. choose to support her or not. but dont badmouth her, she doesnt deserve just because she made a mistake when she couldnt play a role that was important to her

Not well I'm assuming. Asian roles aren't the norm - although Asian women do get more than asian men due to white man audience with Asian fetish Her body isn't that great. Kinda weird. Actresses/actors from tv shows are usually hot for a short time while the tv show is still hot and relevant.

y’all really gotta fucking chill out. if you aren’t really into her, don’t come to the comment section just to say that, keep it to yourself. she wanted to take on that other project because it was a chance for her to do something different after being on FOTB for a couple years. it would’ve been a great opportunity for her to evolve as an actor and she jut spoke her mind and was honest about how she felt. I guess the viewers/audience just love to hate on people who speak their minds and share their feelings about things they are passionate about.
