My sister doesn't like Animal Crossing and I know that because she never played the dsi one that she had, and after searching for forever I ended up just buying the OLED version instead because there wasn't any regular switches anywhere.

Personally I feel like the coolest pack in games are the ones that are pre installed on your system. I still remember unwrapping my 2ds on my birthday turning it on and seeing yoshi’s new island was already on the system.

Yeah same here, I played so much forza Motorsport 1, but never got into halo

When I bought my ps4, believe or not, it was just for playing Minecraft. I bought a bundle that came with three controllers and CoD BO3. I didn't know the game till I bought and now I'm grateful that I bought it. It introduced me to the CoD franchise and I still play it auntie today

my parents bought me the 'kung fu panda/ lego indiana jones xbox 360 bundle' for christmas after my first console red ring'd. As a hardcore gamer at the time who would never have bought these games any other way, I was suprised with how much fun they were.

Console bundles, no matter if they're official or some third party mess, are honest-to-God excellent deals. I'm glad they exist, despite their problems.

I actually did get the Xbox 360 bundled with Forza 4 and Skyrim! It was awesome since my parents were strict with video games. This way I didn't have to go buy Skyrim and then write a college final essay to convince them it wasn't remotely an adult game besides the blood. They just saw me play it and were like "That's a neat game," and then we all moved on with our lives. It was really nice. I might not have played it until way later had it not been for that bundle.

Swapping out the amibos was next level.

And this is why Scott is my favourite Minecraft KZreadr, awesome video :D

Worth mentioning that some of this stuff isn't all that hard to find despite being 'limited'. Mario 3D All-Stars can still be found in many stores (including online) despite being nearly 8 months past the end of its distribution. And I don't think that's because nobody bought it, either. Think it was one of the Switch's top sellers for a bit when it first came out lol

Literally everyone got pissy about this practice for no reason because by the time August came around no one cares because literally everyone who was going to buy the game at some point already got it 2-3 months ago which was still like a 2 month period after it first came out. No one waits 9 months before buying a game they want and people who can't get it in that time should worry about fixing their income first and not Mario games.

8:18 There it is my first game console... Waking up to that on Christsmas (2011) was probably the best thing 10 year old me could have ever dreamed of. Brings back so many good memories.

My dad just went into the hospital today it was a very traumatic sight and I'm just here to say thanks scott, your videos help take my mind off things. I know you do fundraisers a bunch and I'd like to bring your attention to Huntingtons. It's a very saddening hereditary disease with little to no funding and research being done. Your definition of the best game in a bundle is spot on! One of my bundles matched that definition it was the N64 Goldeneye Bundle and included N64, Golden controller, and Goldeneye game.

I can't find pictures of it online but way back when I bought my Gamecube in a bundle at Costco in the best bundle. It came with the Gamecube, an extra memory card, a second controller, pluh Smash Bros, the Smash Bros guidebook, and Luigi's Mansion. Probably one of the best bundles I've ever seen but it seems to be non-existent on the Internet. Only pictures of the standard console, memory card, and controller bundle Costco had.

In Europe I got the game cube bundle that contained Mario cart and the Zelda collectors edition which had ocarina, majoras and master quest on it. Single player and multi player fun for infinite hours. Best bundle in my book. But the smash bundle is also dope. I still play melee competitively to this day.

I have really fond memories of the blue DS that included Mario 64 DS with it. It was the first system I ever saved up for. That $150 over an entire summer was worth it!

My first bundle was the N64. I was 5 and my parents got the Mario 64& F-ZeroX bundle. Two classics to start with. I loved that thing. Lol

The one bundle I got in my life was a base Xbox one with three (it gets worse) games. The games were Ori and the blind forest, gears of war ultimate edition, and... Rare replay. For those who don't know, rare replay is a collection of most of rare's games. So you're not just getting 3 games, it's 32 games! Talk about an insane bundle, I'm surprised Scott didn't mention it.

Mine came with halo 5 and halo wars 1 and 2 it's a good bundle but i'm a game pass user so basically it's kinda useless to me because halo is not going anywhere

I remember when my friends got an Xbox, we would pop in Rare Replay and try to beat Banjo Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and that one ghost game. I also remember we wanted to play Banjo Tooie, but we couldn't figure out how to download it.

I swear, this guy has a video for *every* videogame related topic in the world. I can't turn my head a single degree without seeing a video from him and thinking "Oh, I remember those/that!"

My mom actually got the NSMB2 3DSXL for me for Christmas in 2014. It was the first 3DS I owned, and I actually had some enjoyment out of a game I probably wouldn't have played otherwise.

It’s perfect even for consoles that can’t play cartridges, it’s that good

My first console was a lime green DS Lite that came bundled with Animal Crossing Wild World. Got me through so many car trips

Console bundles were the reason my parents were ever interested in buying systems for me, oh the Wii comes with Wii Sports now we’re talking. They also made for a fun afternoon until I got bored and wanted more.

I can confidently say, Scott SHOULD do a commercial for Bass Pro Shop

My XBOX 360 I got for my birthday in 2012 came with Battlefield 3, what a time to be alive

Love how Scott makes it out like the console comes with infamous LBP and R&C but those were just some of the games included with PS Plus at that time

I still have my very 1st home console, an SNES I bought at KB Toys with money I saved from my 1st full-time job. It came with 2 controllers, Super Mario World, Mario Paint, an SNES Mouse, and Mousepad. It was quite a while before I bought more games because I had plenty to keep me entertained with those 2 games alone. Good times.

I bought the Diamond & Pearl Special Edition DS Lite as a kid without realizing it didn't come with the game. It did come with a short animation on a DVD though! To tie in with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon of course.

I had the same issue with the Pokémon X/Y 3DS, and this was at a time when bundles were cheap and plentiful. At least you could get Super Mario 3D Land as a free download with it.

I had the same edition of DS Lite as a kid! Ironically, I never played Diamond, Pearl, or the Mystery Dungeon DS game on the DS Lite

I remember one Christmas getting my PS3 bundled with Infamous and NHL 2009. as any child would be, I was ecstatic to play both games.

OOH OOH!! I USED TO HAVE THE RED FLAVORED WII BACK WHEN I WAS YOUNGER! man, i miss that console sm, it was so fun to fiddle around with mario until it got boring. then later on i got me games like disney infinity and epic mickey, and the color was just a fun addition to the wii. now it's just nostalgia.

The Skyrim+Forza bundle was my first ever non-mobile console. Very fond memories of that bundle 😁

I remember getting my brand new Nintendo 3DS bundled with Fire Emblem Awakening. I loved that game

For me it was the front of the StarCraft jewel case with the red glowing eyes. my mother literally watched me and dad play that for hours and hours with no issue at all. Found the case in my room one day and crushed that demon to pieces.

The only console bundle I've ever gotten was when my parents got our family a wii u with splatoon and smash bros pre-downloaded. This was also my first video game console ever, so I had no idea how to play either game.

U made me realize that since I changed my Nintendo ID I no longer have my rightful copy of super Mario bros 2 on my 3DSXL thanks a lot Scott

1:02 it’s funny because I got a 360 for Christmas near the end of its lifespan and it was the Peggle bundle 😂
