Conrail at Delta, Ohio
Short clip along Conrail's (now NS's) very busy Chicago mainline at Delta, Ohio in the 1990s. Crossing overhead is the former Detroit, Toledo & Ironton, which at the time of this scene was operated by Grand Trunk Western, now Indiana & Ohio.

That's some incredible horsepower from just two locomotives per train, hauling all that heavy steel and auto parts at that speed, and with that kind of conviction. Those engines are jerking that tonnage down the track. It's an awesome sight.
I love how everyone is wheeling in this video. No BS. Just Go Go Go
Neat video! Wife grew up there in a trailer probably just as close as you are to the tracks!
Great job on my phone
When did Conrail 6074 get the Conrail quality paint scheme? I thought it bad the original Conrail logo. And does the Indiana and Ohio railroad still go over the NS former Conrail Chicago Line at road 9 in delta still?

I know this is 2 years late but the earliest photo I could find of it in the Conrail Quality Paint was in 1996.

It's the Indiana & Ohio former DT&I.
What road were you at when recording? I live about a 2 miles east of the DT and I overpass My house is about a half a block from the Chicago line

Ah, that's what I though. Thanks. Would this be when the steel mill was being built? Now road 9 is blocked of by the tracks.
