it's the way he tried to resist. The whole season is him trying to resist her so he doesn't get his feelings hurt again but he finally gave in and i loved this kiss so much. it had so much passion. but i felt really bad for conrad because he was going to tell her how he felt.

My thing is, Conrad had YEARS to say something, long before anything got hard he had time to tell her. Long before Susannah, long before the dad cheating, long before all of that he knew belly loved him and he still didn’t make a move. The only reason why Jeremiah never made a move throughout the years of knowing each other is because he knew she was in love with Conrad. Everyone did. So there’s no logical explanation as to why he didn’t make a move a long time ago. I get why he doesn’t now cause obviously his mom just died but he had plenty of opportunities and he keeps wasting them because he thinks belly will always wait for him, which (hopefully) isn’t true because no one should have to wait YEARS just to be with someone. That’s outrageous. Especially not when you have Jeremiah who’s always had feelings he just never thought he had a chance.

Girl, I’m such a Jeremiah and Belly shipper! Their scenes have been so good these last few episodes. That “Delicate” scene is one of my favorites in the whole show. Also, that kissing scene was the hottest I’ve ever seen. Lola and Gavin’s chemistry is unmatched 🔥 if Conrad hadn’t interrupted them I think they would’ve kept going. Jere wasn’t kidding when he said “if I kiss you I don’t know that I could ever stop.”

Name me one person on this planet or in story that chooses their partner based on who “deserves” to win them. I don’t know why shippers use that argument. It means nothing in the decision. Now the argument that Jeremiah treats her well is valid. But all of that means nothing if she can’t ever genuinely get past his brother and return Jer’s feelings. He never knew about Jeres feelings for Belly until the end of s1, whereas Jere knew about Conrads and Bellys growing feelings for each other over the years. It's not just in the books, in the series Jeres POV reveals it as well. So for to say something like that is pretty harsh. Also Conrad never asked to be picked out by their dad as his Favorit, je just was which also did a number mentally in Conrad. So please consider both sides, as both didn't have it easy

I feel like Jenny made a really compelling love triangle in the first two books and then had to write Jeremiah with only his worst traits in the third while glamorizing Conrad just so she could get the point she wanted to get to the whole time (that being bonrad as endgame)

Because for the final decision they disguised all the anxiety that Conrad caused Belly, they deified him so that she would feel like the "correct" one, she had to mature in the third part and get married because there was passion and love. Not because of an incredible script 🥲 and putting Jere as the bad guy

Between conrad and Belly are always trying to force a deep conversations, when it doesn't feel natural and comes from nowhere like the conversation about the stars. Belly and jeremiah can have a deep conversation communitating what are they feeling with each other at any time, conrad is so boring and reserved that he doesn't even tell her what he wants or thinks most of the times. jeremiah and Belly at the same time can play and talk about silly things normally, I think they have a conffidence amd naturallity that conrad and bells doesn't

I agree. The only reason they gave us was the "infinity" it's so cringe. There's no actual reason why she loves him. It's tied around the idea that first love never dies and she will always love him regardless of whatever he does. It's so unrealistic. Book 3 ended when she was 24 yrs old and she still believes about infinity and completely disregarded the fact that she fell in love with Jeremiah fir 2 yrs. Book 3 for me is 2/5 because it was so rushed and the Jeremiah we know in books 1-2 is no longer the same. Jenny Han just focused on his flaws and glorified Conrad. It was so unfair

One thing I can appreciate about this love triangle, even thought we all know she will end up with Conrad. But I can appreciate that Jeremiah isn’t being a pick me or is settling for being a backup. This season Jeremiah could’ve easily been all over her cause she’s clearly been trying to get with him since the boardwalk. Jeremiah forced her to deal with whatever is left with Conrad, which I think is important because she doesn’t feel like she’s only choosing him cause she’s not addressing her feelings for conrad. If somehow she does end up with Jere, this will have helped becuase she essentially has chosen Jeremiah over conrad. And it was her own doing, not Jeremiah coercing her or anything like that.

The chemistry here is unmatched ‼️‼️‼️ Team jelly lets gooo🔥🔥🔥

All the signs that he will cheat on Belly are there … you are just refusing to see them. Jeremiah, manipulates situations to his advantage, with very little regard to anyone else’s feelings, any chance he gets.

I don’t see anything wrong with Belly moving on to Jeremiah. Her and Conrad made a clean break, despite him not sharing his true feelings for her. Quite frankly, that one is on Conrad because had he told Belly that he loves her, maybe the outcome would have been different. With that being said, out of respect for Conrad, Belly should have tried harder to tell him that she was experiencing feelings for Jeremiah before hooking up with him. That’s shitty on her part. She does things before thinking them through and suffers the consequences.

This is exactly the very reason I gravitated towards Team Jeremiah although at the end of Season 1, I was a full fledged Team Conrad. However in Season 2, Jere has just moulded into "season 1 Conrad" ish and on the other hand, Conrad 2.0 became more sassy. 🤣 And like we two, Belly has a penchant for brooding boys, so went to Jeremiah 🤣🤣 That's the best analogy I can give for our traitorous behaviour, the reason I don't hate the character Belly unlike most of the audiences. I wonder how many of the haters flipped from person to person as a teenager until they finally settled with "the one". Besides that Conrad broke her heart! I'm not sure I could give him a second chance to be honest "Souffle's can't rise twice". I am sure season 3 will give us the conclusion and Belly's final decision. Personally, I do not see the spark between Belly and Jeremiah. I have never rewatched any of their scenes together. I have rewatched the Belly/Conrad scenes over and over….. they are such good screen partners.
