I had a similar day yesterday. 2 hours before dark, total skunkfest. Couple nibbles, and just before wrapping up, I had one bite and jump out of the water, throwing my white chatterbait.
I know what I’m spending 2 and a half hours happily doing today 😂 thanks Tyler!!

Let’s go!!
I'm new to bass fishing. Last weekend, I lost my personal best in the same way you did in the intro. The fish jumped, spat the hook, and the lure went flying. Even though my personal best might just be an average catch for you, my reaction to losing it was the same as yours. It's reassuring to know that the thrill of the catch doesn't fade even after thousands of catches.

I've been bass fishing for years and I'm still crushed over the loss of a 1 pounder! Don't get discouraged! Even losing a fish tells you that they are biting and that you are doing something right. Tight lines! ❤
I just bought my first kayak this past weekend. I’m nervous to get out on the water since I’ve never kayaked before, but I’m excited to embark on this journey to become a proficient kayak angler. Thanks for the knowledge, inspiration & motivation 🍻 God bless ya, bud

Top of my list because it is most accessible to me is to catch some big smallies on Mille Lacs. Someday I'd like to fish some or all of the major fisheries down south in Texas Alabama and Florida

Makes us feel better that you have tough days too! Great tips throughout the session. Do you go more finesse when it gets tough, or just stick to the reaction baits more? I'm fairly new to bass fishing (less than a year) but have Lake Okeechobee as a bucket list destination. I live in San Diego area and the local lakes are relatively small in comparison.
@TylersReelFishing

I usually change locations first, then if I’ve done that a few times with still no success, I will then go finesse
I just fished my bucket list fishing place. I have lived in Las Vegas for 20 years and only fished for trout in local ponds. I just finally fished for bass in Lake Mead. It did not disappoint.

I'd like to go to Lake Geneva WI for bass. I'm in a FB fishing page and a guy I'm acquaintances with offered to take me on a guide trip for a price that's out of my budget. I'd also like to take a guide trip to northern WI for a monster musky trip, and northern MN for large walleye, preferably during a northern lights show. Thanks for keeping the struggle real, many of my trips end up getting skunked.

seems like our lakes in Northern Virginia highly pressured are very hard to get bites. On bass, Cat fish np, and pan fish np if you know where there schooled. but bass tuff fish for me to catch. Had some thumps tho on a swim jig from bank. few weeks back.
Will you fish at L&M lake and golf retreat for one of the ponds? That lake has so many trophy bass and would love to see you fish there

There are some good ones!
Hey tyler! Great video! Quick question for you: In my area, there are lots of "quarry" ponds that are exceptionally deep in some areas (50+ ft at times). I was wondering what is considered "deep" for a bass? When the bass go deep, what depth should I be looking at? I ask because you mentioned that 10 feet was a pretty good depth for the cooler water temperatures. If it helps, I live in boise, Idaho. Tight lines, brother! ❤
@TylersReelFishing
9 күн бұрын
Most bass don’t want to live deeper than 30. So over 50 they may be suspending, not on the bottom. 10-25 is the sweet spot for offshore summer bass

For braid to leader on a casting rod you gotta learn the blood knot. Tactical bassin' talks about is all the time and I've seen success from it too! super strong and a lot faster than a FG
