I've recently started working my database on a daily basis, expireds & fsbos with a dialer.. Not too consistent but I now realize that when I do make the calls, something always materializes, it may not always mean immediate business, but a door opens up which may lead to: A) Rapport & script practice B) Future business C) An appointment.. So in the end, making the call wins..

I have Recently started cold calling, it was one of those things that a lot of agents are scared of, i had to get rid of that Phobia and just dive right in, learning scripts and applying them, but you know what??? At the beginning, even though the script was right in front of me, i got nervous on my first few calls, that the script did not really help, why? Well, i could not see the script, it was right in front of me, what i mean is, i couldn’t re focus and get back on track, it was nerve wrecking that i actually hung up the phone. Funny, but you know what, it was a learning cur, so i shook it off, and got back on tha horse, it happened a couple of more times, but every time, it kept getting better at it, and now, i am not an expert, but i can handle objections without scrambling or “hanging up” on them. Awesome experience.

For me it's really just about my confidence, I think. I've avoided calling people for years now, so I've kind of just made this fear stronger instead of tackling it. By watching your video, I've thought of 3 things that I'm gonna do to prepare for my phone calls: 1) Dress the part. If I actually feel confident in what I'm wearing and I look professional, I feel it's easier for me to "fake it till I make it". 2) Imagine what the other person could look like. For me, a big barrier is that I can't see the other person. It's just so unusual from any other interaction (even with text messages you usually know the person or you at least know what they look like from their profile). And 3) is to remind myself that I'm trying to help others here (my calls don't have to do with sales) and that is one of the biggest motivators for me.

What potential clients lol? My phone by default goes into voicemail if it's some unknown number lmao. Besides, even if I pocked it up - are you seriously think I will be a client to someone or buy something over the phone? Lmao think again. All I need today is online - phone calls are thing of the past. Grow up to new changing world and better invest in proper websites and online ads and google indexing. New generation of people don't even talk, they just text or email. Phone calls era is gone.

Besides think about it: whould this guy be doing trainings and seminars if he was making god money otherwise? This is so obvious, when people can't do their work, they find some niche where they can become some trainers, and try to sell you books and videos about how to sell lol.
