simple question... talking in 'light tank' only, do you prefer, (vanilla game) as light tank with 39 soft attack and 25.8 breakthrough (80% hardness), or as light tank artillery with 75 soft attack and 11.3 breakthrough (50% hardness)? soft attack or breakthrough are better? why?

Mediums are better so you can stack more soft attack with small cannons. I go for 33 armor and use the howitzers for the tank gun. This is how you get better soft attack. The hard attack in AI games is not as useful.

My problem is: every time I start as Germany in 1936 (with historical focuses on!) by 1939 before I started invading, the US, Switzerland (even tho they are supposed to be neutral), Denmark and a shit ton of other countries are joining the allies, which prevents me of making any progress in France and Belgium. Like what is this. I thought the historical focus would prevent such a mess. What am I supposed to do? (Edit: Has it something to do with me forming an alliance with the USSR?)

It wouldn’t have to do with the molotov ribentrov pact or the tank treaty. The game will work the same as in my video if u follow the same steps.

@@ESG1 just researched it and it was the alliance with the ussr option. Turns out if you do this focus, the UK can invite EVERY democratic country into the allies

I think they don't want you to align with the Soviets because its not historical.

What was your medium tank template?

I ussually go for 35 width, mech, supp arty, engi, aa, light armored recon and signal.

By the way, I’ve been trying to beat the Netherlands for a few days now and I keep getting pushed back, I use about 21 divs of medium tanks (about 27 combat width and 8 medium tanks, 4 mot. Infantry and 1 mot. Artillery and full support companies). I also have 10 marines divisions for the rivers in the southern Netherlands. I have the blitzkreig doctrine fully maxed out. I have green air and good supply. Could you tell me what is going wrong? Thanks in advance!

Use 4 tank divs. It has to be a supply issue. Try the 35 combat width medium tank divs. Don't go marines, as Germany. Focus on building a better tank and plane.

Just use 18 width inf with support engi, aa and arty. Then don't battle plan them, just have them hold the line while the tanks push.
