This song will never be the same for me. I just lost a friend who I saw A Star is Born with. We balled our eyes out at the end. Then we went n got a bottle of tequila n some blunts from 7/11 and hung out on the Chicago river walk. Sitting right across from Trump tower, we sang all the songs and yelled fuck you Trump as loud as we could. We stayed downtown til 4am that night. It was so beautiful and a memory I'll never forget. RIP Anthony💔

So sorry for your loss. I too lost a close friend last year who i saw this movie for the first time together with, it was one of his favorites. Ill never forget as we all would sing this song together full vocals no matter where we were, this song makes me thing of all the beautiful things that came from his life instead of the pain.

Honestly the parallels to the movie are kinda uncanny. You have an older male artist who teams up with a much younger female one and goes on tour with her. He's an alcoholic, depressed, and has a plethora of issues. She's an up and coming artist who continually gets more popular. The only piece missing really is that they aren't dating.
