Mediocre players? 😂 Cole Palmer for bargain price, Malo Gusto (bargain and been an excellent replacement for James), petrvic (£16ish million and will be sold for double), Caicedo who looked world class towards the end of the season. The ball is arguably in Gallagher's corner - he has one year left on the contract. He can stay and sit it out, then leave on a free to really screw up the owners plan. At which point they may as well just offer him a new contract. Not to mention they'd be fools to sell him. One of the best performers at Chelsea; Chelsea through and through. He optimises the academy. Sacrificing a good, quality, homegrown, academy-developed player for the owners' incompetence. Way to run our club, Boehly and Clearlake.

Gallagher was among the outstanding performers last season. He is also a leader for this team. I can even say Gallagher is a more of leader than Reece James. It will be a shame if he is sold.

That is a light weight midfield to take to an away match at any top club. Even WestHam and Villa will run rings around us with that midfield. Gallagher added character and energy to the midfield, allowing the more technical players the room to play. If he leaves, then we better go for Douglas Luiz at Villa or similar player.

If a club buys a player for 100 mil and sells an academy graduate for 50 mil that's still a 50 mil loss. It's still 100 mil going out and 50 mil coming in as far as ffp is concerned, it makes fcuk all difference!

Gallagher stays or leaves we good. He’s good at running and ball retention but if we are to play a possession based ball I think we need different profile because he’s never comfortable on the ball. When Chelsea in possession he’s not the guy to be comfortable with ball and start distributing passes.
