If you break the law and get put on remand, then are released from prison to await your trial date, it doesn't mean you're cleared/exonerated or the case has gone away. He must have his day in court; they are the only ones who can say "Not guilty!" A term we all know he's not going to hear.

He's suspended for as long as it takes him to fully corporate with a full investigation which most fighters engage & accept within weeks of failing a test. 0 sympathy. Can't even backdate ban him cause he fought twice in that period. Invesitgate under strict liability & a 4 year ban minimum imo. It's usually 4 years down to 2 years for full coparration like Amir Khan...but in this case Benn has done anything but cooperate. He thought daddy's money, lawyers & Hearn could get him off...thankfully justice prevailed.

A backdated ban is normal, but conner has boxed twice since the failed test, so maybe backdated from his last fight. 🤔 2 year ban or maybe because hes upset the bbboc they will come down and give him the full 4 😅😅

It's a suspension whlst they wait for him & his team to finally accept to take part in a full investigation....something so basic most fighters go through but Benn fought for 2 years in court to avoid. The investigation starts under strict liability then they decide the outcome, usually takes 8-12months. His own fault.

@@samclark6077 Thing with Fury is he didn't fight again till June 2018 after beating Klitscho in 2015, hence the backdated nature. Benn has fought twice in that period which muddy's waters as he would've only been suspended officially for like few months between the time he gave up his licence which took 6 months & outcome of his legal jurisdiction argument. Also he failed 2x tests opposed to 1 by Fury. Thing with Fury also is he did go through a full investigation, he just wasn't happy with the outcome of a ban hence why he appealed it in the courts for ages. Benn fought a legal case even before any investigation begun simply arguing UKAD had no right to even investigate him. And I'm no Fury fan I assure you, but very different situations.

What next? Justice hopefully. Krusher Benn is a disgrace.

Backdating only works when you've not fought during that times. He's fought twice in USA in small hotel shows & earnt money which defeats the purpose of a back dated ban. They'll investigate & then hand out any ban, even if backdated 2 years it should be 2 years left as usual bans are 4 years down to 2 years for full cooperation for 1x failed test, nvm 2x failed tests & spending 18 months avoiding scruinity via pr & legal war.

I know that he is not the only one comes up dirty but in the United States it does often but the fighter that makes the money dictate everything in boxing they really get no punishment because boxing is corruption I believe that the government has to overlook the sport of boxing because money talks and people got a price it's sad because the athletes should be treated fair but I say corruption is strong you understand do you think that it will ever change to be fair 🇺🇸💉🥊💯👈🤔

Australia Probably be his best bet to continue his career since his dad and sister still live there or make his way to los angeles i know eddie has home in bel air then they have match room gym there he has options but his house wife and kid's are in essex so might be to hard to pick up and leave.

Omelette Head was getting bounced around by Peynaud a Journeymen and then in his next 8 fights he ko'd 5 of them easily. Since he popped for peds his power has vanished in his last 2 fights. He aint won a Brit or Euro title yet, if he fights Boots Ennis that fight wont go 3 rounds but Eddie wont make that fight

The difference is all those fighters either accepted guilt or gave the board an explanation. Benn chose to tell them to go do one. It’s Benn who has handled it differently for other fighters.The board are correct to put him in his place.

Benn has simply done everything he can to avoid even appearing in front of them, hence the long legal case over justification cause he argued UKAD/board had 0 right to even call him into an investigation. This is the best thing the board have done in years simply by showing how serious they take it & won’t be threanted by huge legal teams backed by U.K.s most powerful promoter. Justice. The problem is the BBBOFC came out numerous times before the fight and said they don't recognise VADA, they only recognise ukad. The news leaked to the media before the fight and put the board under pressure to pull the fight based on results they don't acknowledge. The reason the board are fighting so hard to ban him is because they will be liable for fighters purses compensation etc etc etc if they are found to have not had the right to pull the sanctioning. Regardless, the board should have the power to deal with this stuff immediately. He's still not even been banned, just has a temporary suspension

He's fought twice in the USA in hotel ballrooms in front of 500 people with 0 hype. Only hype comes from Hearn forcing his name into Twitter beef with clowns like Tank & Garcia who only play along cause they know Hearn is desperate & will pay for an easy fight. Not at all. Other commissions will follow the BBBofC. He fought twice in the US because the anti doping panel had lifted the suspension, so Benn technically was no longer suspended. Now it’s upheld he won’t be able to fight anywhere. Hence - no fights announced. There’s only one route to take now.
