Connie was voted the best female entertainer of the 20th century . I love it . Eat your heart out , Streisand . Bing Crosby was voted the best male entertainer . I like that also .

She is alive and well at age 85. The first real female superstar/megastar!

Danelyah...I was just thinking about Connie the other day so I'm so glad to see someone react to one of the greatest voices in our history. Connie was the #1 recording artist in the 50s and 60s, selling more records than any other female. She's had some great hits like "Where The Boys Are," (she even starred in the very popular movie of the same name), "Stupid Cupid," "Lipstick On Your Collar," and my personal favorite "Who's Sorry Now" which I would love to hear your reaction to. Thanks for bringing a bit of nostalgia... Connie was one of my favorites growing up and my mother sang her songs often.
