Beautiful interpretation of Connie Francis! I still have a 45 rpm record from MGM, an inheritance from my father. I have listened to it since I was a child and still do now. Also She always looks and sounds genuine with every song she records and does live. She's 1 of a kind. Back then you can hear and see the same songs done by countless artists and most of them seem very Karaoke compared to Connie because a lot if them singers did the songs but didn't have the right human emotions and vocal talent. Many times the songs seemed off and awkward so when I hear Connie do them they have the right mood and flow. The melody matches up and isn't awkward. I love most oldies. What I'm talking about is just some songs when I listen to others who tried the same songs as Connie before and after her.

Actually she has many cheerful songs as well. Someone hascto do the real emotional songs that actually have substance, real human emotions and vocal talent. Not everyone just sang dumb songs like Tiptoe through the tulips and mmm bop! Lol you gotta have all emotions and moods in songs. That's how they are real. I like the stroll and short shorts but if it was all that dance music then there would be no real moods. Real Life situations actually has Connies music stories in it often.
