Im glad you were able to get those letters back. I know how you feel, i am very sentimental myself. I dont know why your Dad was so against him. I loved my parents ,they were very good, but my mom made a very big mistake with not allowing me to date a wonderful, handsome fellow when i was about 15/16, but i was very mature. When i was 20 i married a man who was a nightmare. Maybe i would have been better off with the one she wouldnt let me go with. She never even met him. Too many people brainwashed her about me not dating out of my religion. She stopped that a couple of years later. We weren't even a particularly religious family. I should have tried to fight her on that one. I was a wimp. I wish you could have done something about your fathers control over you and Bobby. ❤

She should have told the police that her father threatened Bobby with a gun. Just that act would have made me leave town ASAP. Then, arranged to meet Bobby in europe, or somewhere safe, and tell Daddy to get over his inappropriate jealousy. Both of them, each, were massively talented, and she would have done just fine without her father telling her what to do. What a mistake. Bobby might even have lived longer if he hadn't been forced to stay away from someone that he really did love. I'd say she's got huge regrets and a guilty conscience, and won't ever get over it.
