You mention on the 1st start dashboard it's publicly available. It would be handy to put a link in the video desc.

Thank you! if i wanted to update my firmware on my micro tcu its canbused into the goldbox, how would i go about doing that? do i have to hookup to the micro through the cable? Thanks again for all your videos! They are such a massive help!

this may be outside of the scope of this video but im using a 32 bit OS and everytime i disconnect the serial-usb converter input from my computer and reconnect it cannot locate the proper input source (usb) without rebooting my computer. thank you for any help provided.

Hi, do you know what to do when Tunerstudio finds the ECU (MicroSquirt v3) but fails the "Test Port" Should I just email you?

No matter what I do it doesn’t find my ecu, it’s getting power and I have all the firmware and all that jazz installed tuner studio opens and doesn’t detect anything I tried on Mac and windows

How does one "power" the ecu outside of the car?

a wall wart car battery 12 old pc power supply is my favorite thing i us charge phones via 5v wires 12 volts fer other crap.. YT videos on pc power supply used as a bench top unit and onr can use a 500--1200 watt boost converter on 12 vlt leg to make say 15-30 volts to run laptops .never use a car battery charger power is 2 dirty

I tried this on my gold box and it erased the flash but then couldn't connect now I cant fins any help on how to load the firmware now

Look in the Goldbox manual for "boot jumper"
