I wanna be a connecter but im just a 1st peer apprentice that shit looks fucken badass Ive done rebar and structual I realy wanna try connecting.

That "Connecter dude " must be the toughest job" or the second one/ what a power job/ none of them should ever feel not being appreciate , not many people can do that they should get more money then some of our politicians get , like the one on congress or the ones who have to deal with the lobbyists, that must be the hardest job even more then those connectors. Sorry sometimes I get angry with whats just, I mean how can some of our representatives make so much more then some of those workers and I am not even up there. Big Aloha to those hard working men's.

i have a question if you could answer it for me, it would be much appreciated☺ what you guys do when you get beams with holes that don't match up? do you force the bolts in place or do you ream them out? i work in the shop making columns and beams and we only have a 1/8 of an inch of tolerance

Oscar Hernandez...depending on the situation they can be forced in with a beater”sledgehammer” or hung by a piece of angle iron with a bridge clamp. It really varies so much. Reaming is usually done later on. We may burn a few holes just to make it work. Always something different
