I remember seeing this after Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, Thomas and Friends, and Barney and Friends. Good times.

No wonder, CPTV (Connecticut Public Television) has been a logo for decade since 1978. After each Barney And Friends after credits, there was the 1994 CPTV logo. Childhood to remember.

To anyone and everyone who lived in Connecticut, like this comment. I still live right across the Long Island Sound from you all. Obviously the 1994 logo is my childhood. WLIW PBS Channel 21 Long Island , and WNET PBS Channel 13 sometimes air programs based from Connecticut Public Television, the first that comes to my mind: that big, lovable purple dinosaur named Barney. 🤣💜💜

I loved it.

This was old, but according to Logopedia, CPTV had a two circle logo back in the 60s, representing the two stations in Connecticut at the time. It reminded me of the Target logo

Imagine seeing the 1994 Logo at 3 a.m. that would be scary

I'm surprised the company still exist. The one used in the mid 1990s is nostalgia, as I remember seeing that after watching the "old school" Barney and Friends as a kid. I miss that just as much as the THX Deep Note.

I remember watching CPTV for the first time in 2015, and when Wild Kratts and CPTV signed off at 6PM every weekday, this bumper at 6:00 would play!! SO NOSTALGIC!! I'll never forget those days! Nowadays, CPTV has hone to shit, both in shows, and in PBS Kids hours!!!
