Thanks to paul jones for requesting Touchstone Television! Enjoy! Touchstone Television was the television arm of Touchstone Pictures formed in 1985 under the Walt Disney Company to produce more adult-oriented shows and TV movies. In February 2007, Touchstone Television was renamed to "ABC Television Studio", which was renamed again to "ABC Studios" in May 2007; however from 2007-2009, Touchstone Television survived as an in-name-only unit of ABC Studios until the final season of Monk on USA Network.

How Disney was able to release more adult-oriented shows and direct-to-T.V. films without damaging their more family-friendly reputation. Such a shame it's now defunct.
I never thought touchstone will be come the end of it since I was born 2000 and now 21 years finally see it again thanks for the memories.
Touchstone Television has become ABC Signature. It's not gone, it just evolved. 🔥

they also created Gnomeo and Juliet! another cool disney film that has now made it to all mighty disney+! It was delayed a couple of times because of the making of Pixar's "Soul" which because a huge deal!

No, they distributed it. Touchstone was meant to be an R-Rated production arm for Disney. But Disney gives some of the crappy B-stuff to Touchstone to escape embarrassment.

Good news! Disney has announced that they’re bringing back Touchstone Television for now after the renaming of Fox21Television Studios as of today. Same as with the renaming of 20th Century Fox Television (aka 20th Television Fox) to simply 20th Television, and ABC Studios/Signature Studios are going to be rebranding as ABC Signature as of this year.

What was the moral of the story today? Don't use a name previously known for great to good stuff to cash in on something you have no relation of. Or in the case of Fox21, renaiming your studio to an unrelated studio name and use the saje style of logo that you used previously.
