Connected 2 Epic Zones! (Long Edit)

Спорт

In this video, I set out with two of my good riding buddies in hopes of connecting one zone to another! We studied this one on digital maps for a while, and finally the conditions let us make it possible!

Good point on the camber of some handle bars. That one thing I really like about my backcountry. When I stand up my feet are by the drive axle and my steering post and handlebars are in a straight line The snow is looking a little more wet and sticky

Another epic video! Really love how you and muskoka wait up for the whole crew the group I used to ride with would ever stop and hit any features ever! Was pretty lame passing a lot of chutes and jumps! Was usually on the trail or a straight line threw the timber! They was good rides just never slowed down to have any fun… 👎🏽

Love the video, always do but thanks again I just finished and am exhausted watching haha Also I wanted to ask you about your tether, I wear mine on my coat and not my wrist, I feel for me that it would get hooked on the bars and too many branches in the UP where I ride so I feel it would get yanked off easily, anyway when you flipped you sled it looked to be wrapped around your bars and you struggled to pull it to stop you track( about the 45 min mark) Is that a concern or what is your reasoning for not hooking it to your coat? Also are your cords longer than s Stock ones? Thanks again, I’m a big fan

@@turcotte16 right on, thanks for the input! I think I need a ibexx high elevation clutch kit. Most of my riding is at 11k+ and I’m only pulling 8100-8200 with the stock P22 weighted for high elevation. How is the adjustability of weights on that clutch, pretty easy to adjust in the field?

Post forward question...you did a "three minute Thursday" video on this a while back and mentioned that for technical/trees, the OEM steering is great, but for jumps and tricks, the post forward puts you in a better position. I know my skill level isn't close to yours, and I'm not a big jumper, just the re-entries, bowties, etc., so how much of a sacrifice is the post forward kit for technical? Not sure that its even worth it *for me* but do want to educate myself.

  • @turcotte16

hey jeff!! so for the moves yiu just described. this post forward kit still is very capable! i’m just meaning in the slow tight and techy stuff it just doesn’t offer the same leverage or geometry as a vertical post, yet it still gets the job done! it’s just one of the things where i noticed any sort of downfall, but the gain i get elsewhere makes up for it!

For me personally I don’t care for the angled steering and the camber of the skidoos. It just feels so foreign to me. I prefer the vertical steering post and a more flat bar turn. It’s possible that I’ve just not had a lot of experience with angled steering that provides Camber. I hope Polaris stays a vertical steering for the future :)
