I was the other day in the metro here in Chile and a girl had tattoed "Forever dolphing love" in her arm. I never thought someone else in this country could know about this song and have a tattoo of it. I need the same tattoo in my arm. This song moved me like no other in years.

I found it! My ex-boyfriend showed me this about a year or so ago and it was a magical moment indeed. We were laying out in the desert garden at night on blankets at the time. The breeze was perfumed and warm. And then I totally forgot that moment, this song etc. Well this morning I woke up with the melody in my head and fractured visions of the video but that was all. I couldn't put my fucking finger on it but then I remembered "dolphin" and added that to my "weird indie band from new Zealand video" and voila! Took me about an hour. Took me a few years. But I bought them all and wore one one day after another.

Basically the main character lives in a cold and detached world with friends who are equally as withdrawn. He finds a woman, strange and alone...much like him. So he follows her…pursues her love..but she is hardened from the truth behind life…and it’s disguise. She is too different, and so is he. There is no changing that. But She’s accepted this….loneliness. Our protagonist understands the message, but is too afraid to be alone, like the dolphin woman. so he accepts instead; existing in a world he’ll never truly feel a part of. Or some shit Idk..

quite a lot more actually. these guitars are dripping in effects. many guitar. pedals were used. Guitar pedals can be used as instruments in and of themselves so yeah way more than just four instruments. It's still a masterpiece tho

I remember listening to this my first time ever smoking weed back in 2014 and was straight having a panic attack all the way up until 2:49 when a semi passed me and I thought it was going to hit me and the next section hit simultaneously at the realization that I was safe and it literally felt like relief. Weird how music does that.

The transition at 2:50 - 3:50 is the most beautiful trip ever. Wish this minute could last forever.

When I made a weekend trip to London, I stared at this metal wall at Elephant and Castle in 05:33 at night for ages, baffled from the play of light from traffic. Oh London, I miss you so much.

At the first Sydney show, they were really under appreciated, I was about one of ten people even applauding. They were definitely amazing.

i deeply wanna have friends like this..

A story about discovering love. At the beginning he is with his friends with his eyes closed. He is so caught up with them that he shuts himself off to many other possibilities. When he opens his eyes it has a dramatic effect on his group. He now views the world differently. This causes him to be open to the possibility of love. He becomes absolutely obsessed with his love interest (The dolphin). He detaches from his group to seek her out. He begins to chase after her. losing much time in the process. His approach is rejected. He returns back to his friend group a changed man. His eyes are open, and his friends are closed. He now has an unrelatable perception of the world. The dolphins eyes are open too though. This could mean that they not only had a similar world view, but mutual feelings. At the end I think the dolphin is only symbolically with them. The dolphin is the one that got away.
