    26:48 Taney did write the majority opinion though he did not "announce" the Dred Scott decision.

    1:11:35-1:13:41 This is what happened with Roe being overturned. In many states old laws banning abortion snapped back into effect.

    After the court ruled in Marbury v Madison, why didn’t Marbury go to a federal district court and file for a writ of Mandamus?

    They had no federal courts at the time, i think it was state court judges that applied federal law.
