I can see why the new Trax is selling well. It's a great looking vehicle...MUCH better looking than the previous generation (Chevy was smart to make it longer, lower, and wider), with a lot of great features for the money.. Nice detailed walk through.

Dave I have to disagree about the SOS button being faster for emergency help. You’re better off dialing 911 and getting the local PSAP directly vs hitting that button which connects you to an answering service who then transfers your call to the same PSAP you’d get if you had called 911 yourself in the first place. Just quicker to cut out the middle man. That being said, I will say there are some benefits to it. Their location data is often more accurate than the location data coming from cell phones and they also do have your name and vehicle information if needed for whatever the emergency might be.

So I just leased the Buick Envista. Sister car. Much of what is offered is in the Envista. I appreciate the review. But Envista only has two driver options for diver display. That's fine I didn't like the third anyway lol. However...there has been a few times where my selected driver display changed to option 1 without me selecting it. The other annoyance is sometimes. I'll leave the car with iheart radio playing and when I get in the next time Pandora just starts playing. The one thing I do like is the audio when I start the car is always low no matter how high it wad when I exited it. Two months into my lease.

Dave I really like how you slow everything down and explain the vehicle in detail. I do have a question and I did not see a video from you covering this unless I overlooked it. Why does leasing seem to be a lot of the sales at Schumacher instead of financing? I live in the eastern part of Tennessee and the majority of new vehicles here are purchase instead of a lease. Is there a benefit one over the other? My wife and I have always financed and have never done a lease on a vehicle. Is there a chance that one day you could do a walk through video on the benefits between a lease deal compared to a traditional finance from the view of a customer?

Dave, I’m a little worried about this type of vehicle! Number one I feel like it’s probably underpowered being a three cylinder. Number two the fact that it’s turbo charged and how very expensive to repair that is and they normally fail less than 100,000 miles. I think one of my biggest problems that I have are that they are manufactured in Mexico and South Korea and the average salary after I did some googling per day is a little over $15. Once again that’s per day. $15 per day I don’t really feel that comfortable about having someone with for most people is the second most expensive purchase in their life after their house, in Mexico from someone that makes $15 a day. For the same price of the vehicle maybe $1000 or $2000 more. I could get a Honda Civic or a Toyota Corolla which we all know will last you 15 years +250,000 miles plus and are head shoulders above this vehicle. I think anyone that buys this vehicle is definitely gonna need that long warranty that Chevrolet offers up to 60,000 miles. The heartbeat of America, Chevrolet straight from Mexico and South Korea.

WHAT A JOKE. Delivery day should never be "A Long Day".... NEVER. After the buyer/dealer have agreed on a price, typically the dealer needs a day to "get the vehicle ready". So on the next day, the buyer should walk in, inspect the vehicle (10-20 minutes), sign papers (5 minutes), drive off the LOT. WHY should this be a LONG process? Dealers need to adapt or die. Just go buy a Tesla or a Rivian. After ordering the vehicle online, the pickup/paperwork process is 30 minutes or less. Took over 2 hours at a Mazda dealership to sign the same papers. Unacceptable.
