Thank you! At 64 I have been diagnosed with a Morgagni hernia on my left side pushing up my diaphragm and left lung. I have been told it is very rare. The only remedy is surgery as it will get worse. I have had extensive conversations with specialists nonetheless appreciate any info about Morgagni hernia is welcomed.

if someone with this has Atelectasis and is c/o of intermittent/ in frequent purulent bloodstained sputum. The person is on Aspirin 75 daily. CT thorax shows Bochdalek diaphragmatic hernia related to the atelectasis. Also when tested the sputum it had pseudomas aer , but patient is clinically feeling well. treated with course of Cipro. Still has the phlegm .Would you think it could be related to the hernia ? what would be the next step? please and thanks

I was using 'complete anatomy' at that time. You can buy a subscription easily with a credit card which works internationally.. if you are a student then having an EBL prepaid card will help you a lot.. you have to pay only 500 BDT for that card I assume.

Yes, I don't think that's an issue. But of course you need continuous supervision and monitoring throughout the pregnancy journey and too you need to discuss this with your obstetrician and with the specialist from whom you have done your surgery.
