With safety as the highest priority, Regents Professor of Communication Chris Segrin reviews conflict de-escalation tactics, or how you "turn down the heat" when an interpersonal interaction with someone is getting out of control. Topics include the nature of human conflict, the arc of conflict and where to intervene, and useful tools and methods.
