Hi There, DIP1 need to go on, power up, press, warm, warm, light, warm, keep pressing warm until you get to the setup number you are looking for, then you press light to save it, unit will reboot, drip DIP1 back down and you should be all set - thanks Andi

I just installed a balboa bp7. Seems circulation pump isnt turning on which i believe is the pump that runs through the heater. Of course getting heater dry error. What could i have done wrong. The control panel seems to work the controls when pump and lights ate pushed. It has 2 2 speed pump and a circulation pump.

OK, sounds like you dont have it configured for a circulation pump - default is a dual speed pump in J9 so if that is not going through the spa pack which it will not be, you will get the error - you need setup #12 - Circulation pump in J21, Pump 1 in J9 and pump 2 in Expander J1 - then follow the process to change the program mode, DIP1 up, turn on, warm, warm, light, warm, keep pressing warm until you get to 12, then press light, wait to see Mem Reset message, then put DIP1 down, you should then be all set - hope that helps

Hi there. I have a new pack Bp501g1 Balboa. 4 wire 220 volt wiring (has neutral). I only have one pump with no extras.. 220 volt 2 speed motor. questioning have is jumper J44. Putting jumper in center says for no neutral. I have a neutral. Do I leave 2 jumpers on.. one on each side for 110volt on each side?? Read manual and searched online. No answers.

Thanks for the comment - 220V over 4 wires means that this is coming from your split system so you should leave the two jumpers on. You would only remove them and bridge the center for a 3 wire dedicated 240V feed which in the USA is not common - hope that helps - Andi

Hi Andi. Great channel! I wonder if you could help me please? I have just installed a new Balboa BP601 control pack with a TP600 topside. I’ve configured it (I think! And thanks to your videos) and it works ok until the jets switch off, then the circulation stops and I get heater error messages, low flow, sensor balance, etc. The hot tub has a two speed pump and an ozone box thingy, no blowers. Is there anything I’m doing wrong? I have dip switch 3 on. Thank you in advance! Cheers, Chris.

Hi Chris, what setting mode have you set it on? Sounds like it doesnt "know" you have a dual speed pump. Also, your pump should be plugged into "Pump1" J9 not circulation. You should be on setup #5 for that kit. After you have done the setup (keypress combo mentioned in the video on the TP600 with DIP1 on), just haveing DIP3 on is ok. All others should be off in the end. Let me know

Hi Andi, I recently installed a Balboa BP7 on a hot tub with a 2 speed pump and a 1 speed pump. I have the second pump plugged into j14 but can't figure out what program will run the second pump. I know that pump 2 works when I plug it into pump 1, but can't get it to run off of the j14 connector

Hi Setup #20 - 2 speed in J9 and 1 speed in expander board (not J14) - that should do the trick - let me know how you get on - Andi

Hello, I was wondering if you had a plumbing CAD drawing for the minimum required items? I don't want Jets in the tub. Just a heater, inflow and outflow a pump and water filters.
