"Im a stonefaced killer like my motherfucking house is" is unironically a bar that will reverberate thru pop culture for a while because of both how good it is and how absurd the context is

NL not knowing what Squidward's house is while having an encyclopedic knowledge of every movie of the last 40 years is insane. It's like he asked "Who's Steve Jobs?"

What NL was saying around 15 minutes about how insane it is that a single thought can contain such a massive quantity of "information"; think of it more like finding the last domino needed in a long logic chain, its not so much that that single thought contains all that information but rather contained the information necessary to connect previously unconnected information in your brain

His Big Bang hang ups have another application. Flat earthers: where does flat earth exist, exactly? Floating as a plane in a void? On a larger sphere? In a simulation? What’s holding up your flat earth?

Some friends put on season 1 of I think you should leave and I think we only watched like one or two episodes maybe, but the only thing that was funny was the skit that had the women at the restaurant and the main guy wasn't even in that. I kind of have similar feelings about that show as I did for the Big bang theory. Like it's some kind of prank that people keep saying how good it is

Does there have to be something that the universe is banging into? The universe is incredibly huge because it has been constantly expanding for billions of years, and this means that in our small portion of it, we're accustomed to everything always being contained in something else. It's easy to assume that this must happen forever in all directions. But if you look at the bigger picture, the universe is still finite. The only reason we think there must be something "outside" it is because our minds are conditioned this way due to our relatively tiny size. Everything we have ever seen is contained in something else. But it doesn't have to be this way. A finite universe with nothing outside it is perfectly mathematically sound. Mathematicians study spheres all the time without having them exist inside something else, for example. They have geometry and all of that good stuff without having to study it relative to our 3-dimensional world.
