I love that the confetti goes into a bag to make it so easy to get this fun card together.

Dear Sara, here's hoping this comment (okay, a novel) finds you and the entire awesome team doing well. This is such a CUTE kit, and proof that shaker cards do not have to be difficult! I love to use Kits to introduce people to the fun of stamping and two great features of Stampin' Up!: great quality and unrivaled color coordination (these two made me choose SU when I first started stamping in Feb of 2020 and joining two months later). Yet, I honestly believe in a few fairly important improvements SU may make, which I have reported in the Sandbox. Most Dutch people speak and read English, at least a little; but absolutely not all. The Kits containing stamps are sometimes available in French and German, but (as far as I know) never in Dutch. How can I interest people in stamping when all they can do is stick down a sticker? The second issue is a very tough one: the thin blocks are very difficult to handle for people who have (a form of) rheumatism. So, as I have that issue myself, I always make sure that D blocks are available. This is, obviously, not only a Dutch problem 😉. In general, there aren't many stamp sets available in Dutch, which makes sense as the market is small. It's a pity, that too often the translations of the sentiments are off in those few sets. I studied and taught English, which was easy for me because I've been speaking English since I was 5 years old and read English since I was 6 (we lived abroad). A striking example is the brand new, gorgeous Autumn Leaves stamp set. The English sentiments are lovely, the Dutch ones are sympathy sentiments. Now those sentiments are very good ones as far as sympathy sentiments go, but the translation isn't even close to the English texts. An important part of the curriculum was translating, hence I know it's not always easy. I would love to help out with translating, so much so that I don't want any kind of reward; I'm convinced that sales will improve both in Belgium and in The Netherlands. Especially in Belgium, as there's more aversion to "unnecessary" use of English. Lastly: all catalogs for the Belgian and Dutch markets are in English. When I log in as a demonstrator, I automatically get the Dutch site, where all products are in Dutch. That is so confusing, that I always switch to the Irish site: prices in Euros, product names are the same as in the catalog. Now I am more a hobby demo and not very interested in selling products or having a team, but I did have a few and now only one remains. One lady moved to the UK, one couldn't afford her hobby anymore, but three gave up because of this issue. The lady who remains doesn't mind that I always have to help her order. This, too, may well improve sales in Belgium and The Netherlands. So, four issues. However: Stampin' Up! has changed my life. There's the sheer joy of working with beautiful materials, sometimes teaching others, the fun of being a member of a great team, the amazing leader is Liz Yuille from the UK. Then there are all the instructive videos by you and so very many demos. Perhaps the most unexpected, yet biggest perk, for me, is the global community. THANK YOU and the entire team for all that you do!
