Hi Dr. Grande, Thanks for your informative video. I was wondering how you're going to interpret the results of your analysis. In other words, how are you going to summarize the results of your analysis. In multiple linear regression, we can say that a predictor variable, say, explicit feedback, accounts for 35.6% of the variance in the outcome variable. It doesn't seem we can do the same thing, can't we? I look forward to your input. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your professional presentation. Just a question, If Goodness-of-Fit are not significant but the test of parallel lines is significant. Is it OK to use ordinal logistic regression or Multinominal logistic regression should be used?

Quick question: I'm currently analyzing the relationship between dietary habits (ordinal variables) and disease symptoms (dichotomous/categorical). I also have BMI to use for the covariates. My question is, what should be done when the assumptions are not met? More particularly; Model fitting, pearson R-square and Test of parallel lines shows unwanted significances.

Hi. This is very helpful. I have a question. Could you please explain if ordinal regression can be used if I have a pre-post data and both the pre and post categorical variables have more than two levels?

Hi, I have a question on how to run a GEE with Ordinal Logistic model and be able to include the 'EM means' in the output. My study data-set includes ordinal data (a 5-point scale ranging from 1 highly unfamiliar to 5 highly familiar).I’ve run a GEE in SPSS and chose an ‘ordinal logistic’ model but it’s not possible to include ‘EM means’ in this type of model and for this type of data. Thus, when I get the results, no ‘pairwise comparisons’ table is included!

Thank you for your explanation. I have 2 nominal and 2 ordinal variables as independent variables (4), and 2 ordinal likert-scale dependent variable. In this case should i use ordinal logistic regression or nominal logistic regression? Your reply will help me a lot. Thank you in advance

Great video! It helped a lot. Could you tell us how to use categorical variable as moderator instead of IV? My IV plant based diet, the higher the score, the more plant based a person eats. My DV is work productivity loss. My moderator is duration of the diet in categorical form, for instance one month or less, one month to 3 months and so on. Maybe I could dummy code duration of diet and compute a new variable by multiplying it with centered mean?

Hi Dr. Grande, thanks for the good videos that you have shared. I have a question regarding this model (ordinal regression). Since there is no exp result as we can find in binary logit or multinomial as a result of Odds Ratio, how do we find that the Odds Ratio in this model? Thank you.

I have some trouble with interpreting my results. My DV is oridnal (1= equal, 2= equal but with some being taller, 3= equal but some being shorter and 4= not equal). My IV consists of four groups, every group stands for a certain background. I do get significant results. Group 2 and 3 have a significant effect on the DV, 2 being a negative number and group 3 positive. The question is: What does this tell me? Group 2 gives me a lower cumulative score but I still don't know how to interpret this. Does this mean that group 2 is on the lower end and nags more towards DV-groups 1 and 2?

I would like to know is .016 a significant p value ? And secondly if i want to see a relationship between one dependent variable and 5 independent variables both of which are measured on a likert scale..so is ordinal logistic regression compulsory?
