sorry I'm really confused, the output says gender(1) and referral(1) which stands for "male" and "voluntary" respectively, but in the data view male is coded 0 and voluntary is coded 0 so how do you know that gender(1) is male?

Sunda July 14/2024. Interesting concepts on analysis and interpretation of the results, particularly impressed by the probability figures in the data view sheet.

Thank You Todd. Very good explanation and easy to understand. I hope You can make a video for logit with two dependent variables and three or more independent variables.

Thank you for this Dr fodd. Also Dr which statistical analysis is most appropriate to assess the relationship between risk factors that lead to diabetes with the aims of seeing whether there are relationship between the risk factors and also to investigate the interaction effect between risk factors. Thanks

Hello Dr. Grande, Thank you for your well explained video it has helped me a lot. I have a question, can you still run the binary logistic regression analysis if the Chi-Square is not significant?

I've had a little look around and I couldn't find in any of your videos an example where you examine an interaction. What would OR mean essentially in a case of an interaction?

Hi Dr. Grande, When interpreting the gender variable, did you by any chance made a mistake about the fact that 1 = male? Because prior to that you have shown us that 1 = female. I'll be very glad if you can answer my question as me interpreting my data depends on you :)

In the "Categorical Variables Codings" , the column "Parameter Coding" changes the interpretations for Gender and Referral . Can you please explain on what basis it is decided after building the model, since our interpretation is 1 for 'Female' and 1 for 'Involuntary'

Look at 7:07 sec, you will see the "Categorical Variable Codings" table. SPSS code Male as 1 and Voluntary As 1. Yes, it did confuse me when he explained this on the data view.
