The Condor Cyclone is great plate carrier! For about 2 years I've worn it on the range, and for PT In the gym and on runs; it's held up great! Most importantly it has never let me down overseas! Awesome job on the review!
condor makes great plate carriers, I have an early version of this plate carrier and I have hiked probably a little under 2k miles, and have done near all shooting schools and drills while wearing it. I do not train on a clean range, I train in natural high desert, I am not easy on my equipment. I have been dragged in it, scrapped it against rocks and walls, crawled. Holds up. AND also to add to it, Ive had solid steel plates with no coating on them which puts alot more stress on a plate carrier. Ive had my plate carrier for 5 years now.
One of the best videos I have seen on a plate carrier. Thank you for being so in depth and focused. Well done
Recently bought this carrier from clickarmory and am happy with it. It holds my AR500 armor plates in well and the fit is great. It does what its supposed to do, hold armor plates while keeping a small profile. Also took me a few min to figure out the shouder straps but they roll in with velcro.
Great quick review, a friend uses one and I liked it when I used it a few times. This plate carrier is comfy compact, good deal
Bought this because of this vid and love it
Solid Video, we actually use these Cyclone Plate carriers during action shoots and training events, it's a superb option for a lightweight and feature-full carrier - very well build and compact - that won't break the bank and will last a long time. There are many, many compact plate carriers on the market, and it usually comes down to personal choice and the purpose the operator will be using it for.
Thank for a great review sir.
Just bought it in MC Black. Super excited especially since it's nearly impossible to find decent inexpensive carriers.
Regarding the side plate pockets. RMS 1" thick hardplates and AR500 Hybrid IIIA 1/4" would not fit. The cummerbund is exactly 6" tall and does not allow for plates or soft armor greater than the thickness of paper. I"ll remedy it by attaching side plate carrier pouches to the Molle II straps.
nice review
There are mag pouch inserts you can get that slide into the admin pocket on front.
What does it take to get a plate and carrier set? I heard that I varies from province to province like Alberta and B.C you only need to have a PAL to get one or at least to be exempt from the body armor control act?
difference between the Cyclone and the Gunner? Thanks in advance
got my CFR patch in the mail today, thanks boys!
Is the inside padded for comfort with plates installed?
Will this accept 6x6 hard side plates?
Would you be able to fit a Water Bladder on the inside of this somewhere? or would have to get a sperate pack for that?
Sounds like Wayne from letterkenny
what plates are you running in that?
