    Thanks for checking. I had someone else check for me too and I emailed them and they have the HIGHEST ADD ONS of any building in AC. Not just electric and water and cable but Zero housekeeping is included and it is like 500p per clean plus they charge a Dues fee to cover maintainance of 75p IIRC per SQ Ft so even on the smallest studio that is 2000 pesos more a month.

    there are 3 types of condos in the philippines ,affordable ,upscale and luxury .this condo should be in the affordable class ,but its not ! Watched the lay out of each unit and looked subpar . i own two condos in manila .the 56 square meters ,paid it last month for $105 k ,the older one at 30 sqm was $55k when i bought it 7 yrs ago ,but is now close to $100k its market value.

    I have never understood people buying $300 to $500K US dollars for a condo in a 3rd world country. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Philippines and try to spend 6 months every year, but my condo just 6 miles from Washington DC cost me 100K and is 660 sqft in a gated 80 acre, 55 community with pools, club house, golf course, miles of paths and within 2 miles of the metro . . . But I as a designer builder, retired, have help oversee a few Pinoys building their homes because I love what I did for a living.

    @@truthhurtsalways4u Yes, I lived in Taguig and while I enjoyed the hell out of the upscale amenities, I stayed about a 5 minute by jeepney ride to Market market in a regular 36 meter condo for $350/month. So instead of investing my money in an overpriced condo with high condo fees, I saved money, ate out everyday and traveled with all the extra money I had. Different strokes for different folks, peace!

    $360K upfront cash vs let's say $700 to rent the unit = 8400 a year ~ It would take you 45 years to get the $360,000 back plus $1800 a year in condo fees ~ Condo fees will go up. Talk about a money pit? OK say daily rate will be $106 a night ~ I can rent a house in Lapu Lapu AKA Cebu right on the ocean for 2500 a night?

    @@144k_Kingdom_Living owning property is absolutely an achievement. Your rent money goes into someone else's pocket. Mortgage payments go to your equity, which is compounded as land value goes up. What it is not though, is a cash to be a land lord. You aren't going to necessarily be making positive cash flow, but at the end of it someone else paid off your property that is now worth more. As for a place like Angeles, who knows if the price will go up, let alone it being a condo where you don't even own the land. Albeit, Philippines is getting more popular. With that said, that condo is a LOT more than $700mo. It's closer to $1,100 for a 1 bedroom and $1,500 for 2 bedroom.

    Can you own your own land in the US? At what point is it considered yours? If you don't pay that property tax, they'll take it back.. They also appraise it every 10 years or so and continue to increase the value in order to collect more money every time.. I understand what you were saying, but it is my opinion that you do not truly own it if you are extorted monthly in order to maintain ownership. And that property tax is on tip of the tax you paid up front & doesn't include the price of the mortgage that you paid to have a paper that calls you the owner.. I believe if you never stop paying a payment on it, the government actually owns it..

  • @ChaseMaximilian

    @ChaseMaximilian

    @@blakewaddell8879 All I'm saying is that for that kind of money its better to build your own house. 360K is alot of money. Phillipines is supposed to be cheaper. I can find condos in USA for the same price with same bedrooms. I just feel like 360K is an incredible surcharge. Its better to lease some land and build your own house for less than half the cost. More space and better quality. I guess its true what they say. Location, Location, Location!!

  • @blakewaddell8879

    @blakewaddell8879

    Жыл бұрын

    @@ChaseMaximilian I agree.. I also believe the Philippines should be priced according to what the Filipino people could reasonably afford, else they will be opening themselves up to foreign only investment.. So you have foreigners living like kings (not specifically this unit) while nearby you have the native citizens of your own country living like peasants seeing this and causing resentment towards all foreigners. Eventually this will drive out all foreigners once the locals start rebelling and retaliating. Basic economics. But unfortunately, it is happening in all major cities in the US with the difference being that it is rich versus poor rather than foreigners versus locals.. But, yes, currently the US is a better option than the one presented here in this video..
