Amen Meagan!! One wife yes- Even while allowing polygamy, the Bible presents monogamy as the plan that conforms most closely to God’s ideal for marriage. The Bible says that God’s original intention was for one man to be married to only one woman: “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife [not wives], and they will become one flesh [not fleshes]” (Genesis 2:24). Also In the New Testament, 1 Timothy 3:2, 12 and Titus 1:6 give “the husband of one wife”

Awesome discussion. Nevertheless, I can’t help but notice how Cam is coming up with various scenarios and hypotheticals to pacify infidelity. Let’s stop this notion that a person can be patient with someone and help them work through infidelity. That is an internal battle that can only be won through soul-searching and self-accountability. Oftentimes the main people who feel as though people should stay with them if they cheat, would not be willing to stay themselves if they were the one constantly cheated on. Deception, dishonesty, and lustful impulse will never sustain a viable longterm union. Just an observation from a fellow black male.

Our men are broken. I think Cam was trying to say “the right things” nut his real thought process seeped through plenty of times. Many of his talking points were experienced based and something you can tell he seems to believe. I don’t believe he was playing Devils Advocate, I think a lot of his toxic ways/ideas is because that’s his mindset and it’s the way he chooses to live his life. You can tell because he stumbled on his words alot. I really hope our community finds the black male leaders we need to ensure these families don’t continue to be broken.7 kids who need him present, but due to his choices, his children are not in his full care. Now don’t get me wrong, everybody isn’t ,want to be together and we all make mistakes, but the point I’m trying to make is due to this mindset, alot of men are broken. They attract broken women or they lie and BREAK a the woman through this behavior discussed in this session. They bring children in the world and then break up the home. Constantly searching for the right person to make them “whole” or give them “peace”. Not realizing that that peace will never be found in another person. No matter how hard you search, or how “good” she is, she will never be able to give you what you lack. We need help. We need men, STONG men to help these boys\men navigate these emotions. Without that, this world is doomed.

I agree but I don’t think we need leaders we just need individuals to do the work in their own homes. Leaders are just human beings who are flawed. We just need more men holding themselves accountable and doing the work. You can’t be a leader if you can’t even admit your own flaws , be accountable and have a higher source to believe and answer to. I have seen these so called leaders in the blk community. they speak one thing while living an entirely different lifestyle. So we don’t need leaders we just need men who are willing to do the work God will do the rest.

This was a great conversation. Love the continuous evolution I’m seeing from both Cam and B. Simone. This was my first time hearing Megan Brooks but I’m sure it will not be the last. She is solid. We need more conversations like this. I can’t wait for the next episode Mr. Newton. Respect. Ain’t No Mo. Two Fingers.

I thank you guys for this segment it has helped me so much with me as a person as far as relationship goal. I know the things that I look for and appreciate. But I haven't found that person that feels the same way or think like I do. So thanks for the content that you put into this segment. So rewarding for me.

WOW! This entire conversation was on 🎯 I feel IF you are still sleeping around you should remain SINGLE! Period. I can’t be in a relationship IF a man is still struggling with infidelity….make it make sense. 🤦🏾‍♀️ A man would loose his mind IF a woman was sleeping around and still trying to “find himself” Really? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Men ain’t trying to hear that, though. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Excellent Video!

Solomon was warned and thought that having a wife from all tribes and nations would save him but ended up being his demise. David also had to pay for taking a man's wife with his child and it was after repentance he got his favor. One man, one woman was from creation with Adam and Eve. Did any stray, yes, did every one of them stray no!!! Great discussion though!!!!

B Simone, thank you so much for touching on the topic of growth. I really needed to hear those words. One of the biggest challenges that I’m dealing with now is avoiding growth to keep the version of myself that people are used to. But those words helped me realized that it’s totally okay to accept growth and to leave those who don’t gravitate towards it behind. I don’t want to hold myself back for people anymore. I want to open the door for growth and betterment regardless of who I’m going ti loose in the process. Thank you b Simone💙💙💙💙💙

This was really good! Having open dialogue and openly discussing relationship differences/expectations is key. Now a days relationships seem to be more transactional than transformational. I believe if we focus more on what can I add to this person rather than what can I get/take it would eliminate so many issues. Energy is a constant flow, as you pour in you receive back. Your thoughts about situations, people, and experiences are exactly what you will see around you. The subconscious mind presents to us exactly what we believe as true with no questions asked. Focus on self-fulfillment first, becoming complete and whole within yourself. Then you will be able to see and attract the wholeness of another individual. Love is already within.

Man sheesh!! 🤯 This episode tho. Probably the best one I've seen on topic of relationships. So many nuts & bolts and real talk. This the type of mature Convo that we need to have on the regular to build that understanding between both parties/sex. We needed this man appreciate yall for these platforms cause not a lot of people surround by the right ppl to have and receive these types of convos. Much prasie to this episode tho 🙌🏿
