Undecided weather to buy makita 40V or Hilti Nuron, what do you suggest? Performance wise and battery run time? Any input is greatly appreciated

Sorry for the late response my friend. If you ask me the XGT line in just as good if not better in some instances. Also easier on the wallet. I got into Hilti just to try something different. Seemed like every video on instagram I seen people were using 40v Makita. Wich is a good thing if you’re buying into the tool line. I think that’s the best rear handle saw ever made. The 36v dual battery was awesome but the XGT is even better and more power. The roto hammer I had was a little bulky but it hit hard. The impact driver you can’t beat the grip and ergonomics. Almost like the HPT triple hammer. The bits did get stuck in the collet every once in a while when it got too hot. Hammer drill, fuckin awesome 💪. I’ve never seen batteries last as long as the 40v Makita. The Hilti Nuron batteries have really good run time too man but I think Makita has more. I prefer the Hilti roto hammers over the Makita I had but I only had the D handle 1 1/8 so I can’t speak on any others. All around, bottom dollar, end of the line😂…. I would choose Hilti again no question. It’s hard to put in words. I have all the respect in the world for Makita but having tried both I much more prefer Hilti. Just my opinion and preference brother

the 40 volt Makita saws are really, really nice. I have the 7 1/4 and 10 1/4 rear handle, the 6 1/2 circular saw and the 8 1/2 miter saw. I've used them allot and they are rock solid and just a pure joy to use every time. I still prefer my 18v Makita impact though and I doubt I will make a full switch to 40V. I don't mind having several tool systems.

@@user-hz9om3zy9o it’s hard to make decisions buying into a new tool line. The best bang for your buck contractor grade tools…. Makita 40v or even LXT in lower demand jobs. All depends on what you do though. Some people don’t need 80v demo hammers and things like that but when you need heavy duty shit I think Makita and Hilti have the game locked. The XGT and Nuron platforms are on another level. You’d be plenty satisfied with either

All the time😂. I just prefer the Hilti Sds drills, especially the TE-4 compact. Best compact bar none. I like to use all one brand so I just switched to Hilti. The Hilti Nuron tools are expensive but I think worth the money. No issues so far and reliable for sure.

@@IMPACT-NATION I run all Makita about half and half LXT and XGT. I been drilling tons of 6" 5/8 holes with the little black Makita SDS and I've been surprised it can handle it all so easily. I must admit though you videos have me itching to try some Hilti, I do need an sds that can do some chipping. I guess that's why the give you guys these tool ha ha. the rear handle saw looks pretty sick too. Thanks for responding and all the videos 👍

@@user-hz9om3zy9o Nah man I’m not sponsored by any tool companies. I pay for every single tool myself. The only people that sent me any tools was Flex and a couple small brands. I’m just not into that influencer bullshit. I’m just a concrete guy that loves tools brother. I love filming and editing as a hobby as well. Are you talking about that 13/16 Xgt sds? Man they brought that out just a little late😂. I had already switched to Hilti before that sds was available. If it had came out a month sooner I might still be running Makita😂

@@IMPACT-NATION Oh dang my bad, respect to you. I just saw you were running all flex and then all XGT and then all Hilti so I figured you were just getting handed that shit. I was like man, this guy must have a mountain of tools in his garage ha ha. I thought you were like that Krueger construction guy, I'm pretty sure is an advertiser for allot of brands. I've been running the makita 18v sds, I think it's 11/16, just for tacking down bottom plates. It's so little and light but it can do more than I expected. You did inspire me though and I just bought a TE 6-22 so I can do a little chipping when I need to. I'll probably upgrade to the sawzall soon too.

@@user-hz9om3zy9o hey buddy you’re totally fine😂. I would have assumed the same thing. At first when I started out I was doing the tool test thing, but it kind of gets old quick. The real action is out on the job working these tools for what they were designed for. That’s the real test. Not knocking tool test channels at all cause I’m still a huge fan of them. The main reason I switched was exactly for that TE4 compact roto hammer. Super light and it can do 3/16 for tapcons, 3/8 for bigger anchors, and even 1/2 inch for rebar. A lot stronger than I’d thought it would be. You get a lot of bang for your buck with those compact roto hammers. I’d definitely like to try that XGT. Yeah man I’m just a guy like you brother😂. I love trying out new tools when I can, but I think I’ll be using Hilti for quite a while. Let me know how that TE6 is working out. It’s definitely a beast🤘
