You've never seen anything like this, until now! I'm talking about the new line of DeWALT concrete hand tools. Today I'm showing you the DeWALT mag float. They also have Steel trowels, concrete edgers, and concrete jointers.
My partners @dewalttough have been sending me a lot of their new line of concrete tools for 2024. As a brand ambassador for DeWalt, I'll be showing you tools like this mag float, new battery tools like their Vibrating Screed, compactors, core drill, and concrete vibrator.
We really liked using the new mag float on these broom-finish concrete patio slabs.
I'd say they're as good as any mag float I've used in the past and I really like the colors (black & yellow).

Are the modern mag-floats actually magnesium alloy or are they just aluminum? I know they would have been magnesium back in the day but are they still?

I had to cut one down due to the wear and people using them to bang pit star pegs. Gave it a light with a butane torch. Yep burns white hot like magnesium in highschool science class.
