I second that. I have been waiting for a narrator with the right voice and style appropriate for these stories. Excellent work.

A terrific story from Robert E. Howard and a fantastic reading. Your rendition of Yag-kosha is very moving and I feel that your talents rose to give this character the interpretation it deserves. Thank you.

This is the one. It's got annunaki, Lovecraft, Giger, and savage hyperborean kickass all in one, it's so minimalist and to the point it's art house. Frikking fantastic. well told! Thankyou!

I really enjoyed this reading. Both the 'base reading' - For lack of a better word, but also the character voices. Both are done with enough feeling to make the story come alive, but without being so exaggerated that it becomes an annoyance. Well done!

I just discovered your audio versions of the original REH Conan stories, which are amongst my favorite short fiction to read. Your readings are excellent, and have become a new favorite to listen to on long drives and whilst relaxing in the evening. What an incredible story...the end when Conan meets Yaga reminded me of the pity Frederick Treeves felt upon first meeting Joseph Merrick...captivating and so powerful...

By luck, i come across this piece. What a great story complimented by equally great reading. I usually listen to audiobooks to fall asleep but this one kept me awake in suspense. Looking forward to hearing other stories on your channel.

dont think we've tried much of his non-fantasy work, like the boxing stories or westerns etc, but REH does write action very well, keeping it fast past but still illustrative, so i can see those genres working well too

I don't understand how your narration voice sounds harder than Conan's... I make him grim, mean, vicious, wild, and with a scandanavian accent. Which, is kind of wrong bexause Cimmeria would have been Scotland but...whatever.

Well it is one of our earlier videos and we were still working out styles. This story is set early in Conans life so he might not be as grizzled yet. And there are supositions of Cimmeria being ancient Ukraine/Russia.

You're audio is far too quiet.
