Conan being real about social media and about it not being real. He is down to earth and even though he is so over the top at times and superhilarious, he is someone who I would like to spend an hour at a café with and talk about life, the kids and the rest of it all.

As much as Conan makes me laugh, I can't get enough of times when he speaks of serious things. I'm glad you got him to do that on the podcast.

Yeah he's a perceptive guy and a deep thinker. I think a lot of comedians are actually.
I wish a hardcore Team Coco fan makes a playlist/reddit post of all the times Conan is a guest on somebody else's podcast. I hope somebody already did.

The only reason I clicked on this video is Conan's face in the thumbnail. Conan is the most funny person I know.
Dating is difficult if you're 100% Irish. The usual pick-up lines don't really work: "You remind me of my sister." "I am your sister." or: "You live around here?" "Yes, you idiot. We live in the same house."
Conan has such great chemistry with the group!! Loved this episode

You’re seeing what makes Conan special. I’ve seen video or Conan dropped in a foreign country, where he doesn’t speak the language, and, before you know it, people are gathering around him and he has them laughing. Conan is a master at connecting with an audience and getting them to laugh, whether the audience is a stadium of 40,000 people or 3 people in a podcast studio.
Conan Obrien is the best.
I'm 30 years old and I would gladly marry Conan if he wasn't married himself. He is the absolute best and funniest human being

I’ve been such a big fan of Conan’s since I was 12 and my love for him just continues to grow. The best personality in the biz, period!!
Conan is really special to me because he basically got me through Middle School (which made this episode that much more awesome)! I remember going home, exhausted from pretending that I was mentally well at school, and then crashing on my bed and watching a million Conan interviews with Kevin Hart, Norm MacDonald, etc. etc. I really latched onto his comedy style, and would look forward to trying to make my ""friends"" laugh. I remember one time I got tired of all my friends talking about these stupid video games and I would say "I'm really into this new game called Pong." *crickets*. But I tried to make the best out of a bad situation, and maybe if Conan heard it he would laugh. But anyways, this was a super wonderful interview, thank you for posting! ♥️
Omg that clip of Conan from the Great Depression.. he’s always been a big personality
Conan’s Gossip Girl improvs 😂😂
God! Conan is just a great great guest in general. Whether it be in late night show appearances or podcast he’s amazing at both interviewing and being interviewed.
I'm DYING laughing at the intermission story ohmygod conan
what the hell, the chemistry is bonkers, I love to see this. you guys are great
Oh my gosh I loved this episode SO much, and I adore how funny AND deep this conversation is.

i will watch anything with conan 😭
this is my favorite episode im so glad we got this
I always love Conan’s witty and solid nuggets of wisdom and honesty underneath and between the comedy lines.☺️☺️That def takes experience and skill.
Conan has always been my favorite out of the white talk show men. He’s just such a genuine person and sooooo funny. And he’s so kind and introspective and vulnerable with that in a way you don’t get from other talk show hosts.

I have been a huge fan of Conan for years, and his view on life is terribly refreshing. I love this episode so much!
Wow, wasn’t really expecting this podcast to be so real and intense. Conan is still pretty hilarious in any situation.
So glad they posted video… this interview got me through a very hard December and New Years, i had it on repeat some days.. always a Conan fan, now a PodCrushed fan because of this interview
I remember staying up late just to watch Late Night. One of the funniest shows ever produced
I also found this video of Conan interviewing his sister in one of my KZread rabbithole dives and I really wanted to get his reaction on this. I am really glad you guys at Podcrushed got his reaction to this video!! You guys made my day! Loved it you guys:)

He talks to his sister like she was Sona... Especially the snicker after "They've heard it mostly from you, I hear." I just lost it there. =)
I've laughed so much with you guys, I LOVE this episode, thank you for posting the video
That home video of him as a kid 🤣 Pure Conan. Has not changed!
Loved the episode ! Thanks for doing this Penn ! Lot's of love !
i think i've listened to this specific podcast at least 3 times from beginning to end. it's just my serotonin hit :)
WOOOO I LOVED THIS EPISODE, THANK YOU FOR THIS!
Honestly the Gossip Girl reveal makes a lot more sense than it doesn't, knowing that Jenny was also using it. I rewatched the entire show after knowing the reveal and I think there were only a couple of minor instances that couldn't be explained by Dan or Jenny being GG.

I never re-watched it all the way after the reveal….but considerijg how much of a muse Serena was for Dan….he had to be Gossip Girl…and when he wasnt…Jenny was. It makes sense. Who else could it be? I mean someone once said Nate….but that doesnt check out because Nate was never that into Serena…as it turned out….he ran tail real quick when Serena started not working out. Then theres Georgina but also dont feel she cared that much. Dan makes the most sense anyway u look at it.😂He was living in both worlds (Upper East Side and in Brooklyn) all the time.
Yayyyy I'm happy you are posting from season 1❤
Absolutely love this podcast
What an episode.. Conan is amazing. 😂
Oh that was cool you got him on there. Great episode!!
This is such a good conversation. Nice podcast!
When i was in 4th grade or so i loved whose line is it anyway. So i gathered some friends, made up fake paper tickets to either give out or sell to kids on the playground. It worked for about 3 mins, i got heckled, started arguing back and it turned into an all out brawl with maybe 30 kids just drop kicking each other 😂 it was pretty bad
I love that Conan's only likely honest take is that he peaked prolly 2 years ago. Meanwhile, his name and franchise are more significant than it's ever been and proliferating. I'm convinced the only way to see the light is to be utterly blind like Conan. Only Conan I STG. lol

My favorite so far thanks!!!
We need more footage of Lil' Rascal Conan.
that was amaaaazing!
Needed to hear this! Thanks Conan!! ❤ Fan since my college days!
This was amazing
Also coming from a psycho-obsessed Gossip Girl fan back when I was in highschool😍🤣…it is really neat hearing Penn’s perspective on GG all these yrs later. And also neat to see Penn’s reaction to Conan’s comments on the show. That show was THE SHOW back then! At this age…10+ yrs later…I dont think I could get through watching it without cringing now😂but in my younger years…I was ALL OVER IT😘😘🥰🥰
Great talk guys!
Flawless interview. Love Conan so much. Now fan of this podcast (:
Omg him talking about tap dancing. "Hi everybody, got my shoes!". Thst had me weak!
I relate to the guy who thought he peaked in 4th grade. I topped the class in second year of school (yes they used to grade kids back then). I’m Conan’s age now and it’s been downhill since 😂😂
thank you!

I love hearing Conan speak. So much wisdom
The gossip girl stuff was sooo funny 🤣
CONAN is awesome!
This was so great! Conan is hilarious as always! Been following him for years. I also love how genuinely tickled Penn is by Conan…like Penn turned into an audience member and fan just like us (and didnt even look like a celebrity or host of the podcast at certain moments). Conan really has a big affect on people.☺️☺️Lastly, Conan def was wrong about not liking his name. Now he has one of the most distinct names for talk show hosts. He has a great name for television! 😝
The iphone memories discussion is so relatable.. 😂
Hilarious ❤
I see conan. I watch
God I just love Conan so much. So did Lorne I guess.
23 is so young 😭
Conan's Gossip Girl impression was GOLD at 52:13
Having Conan again and with some other GG actors would be awesome. I imagine Matthew Settle, or Chace again! Robert John Burke would also be amazing.

What is sus about being a fan of someone? Are people that uncomfortable with their own sexuality that they feel self conscious about admitting they're a fan of a male comedian?

Don't understand the "yeah" to Conan's "I think I would have been a terrible lawyer". If I had to describe my perfect defense lawyer it would be Conan. The definition of eloquent, he has a clear mind, so quick and intimidating at times. But always respectful

Agreed. Or also, maybe it was genuine; however, maybe we aren’t remembering the discomfort behind the “smile” or picture because we’ve romanticized. Or like, our weight fluctuates and seeing our former skinny sleeves is rough 😂
Presented by Sennheiser with SHURE microphones! ;)
I understand this words /convo now of course maybe a little earlier Now i would say i feel the words They make sense 30 is like 20 40 like 30 And also i will look always forward when i am older Of course best live forever but yeah thats another topic😂
😀
nice interview. hope they appreciate how lucky there were to be able to get a legend like Conan on their show
How did Penn knoooow to wear the blue flannel…. Like, what in the universe. 😂Penn, you’re a God from another time… you can say it. We all know.. How was Ancient Greece? You’re cognitive reticence is dripping in it. Like, ok Penn. I see you Conan. Good nod here, way to use your power for good 😊. 😅. But, yeah the shirt thing… that’s what grabbed my attention. The content is also great…iconic, amazing interview.

23......You must have A LOT of things kinda falling into place. Men and women serve tours in wars before they're 20. Many of those people require mental health help and for very good reasons. 23......I can't even imagine.

I have to disagree with the young lady who thinks 23 is the right age to have a serious relationship. Take it from someone who is 60, you need to first grow and develop your own goals and establish a career in which to build a relationship on but honestly, 23 was good in the 60's being a college grad and on your way. Whereas today, 23 doesn't have the same level of maturity. And honestly, the way my girlfriend and I spent time together in high school and the circle of friends we had were much closer and active socially than today. At 17, we spent such wonderful intimate time together and really had romantic experiences because we had rock n roll music and really nothing on TV so, we would hold hands and very affectionate. That doesn't really exist anymore. Not saying it doesn't happen at all but I don't see that kind of interaction today. First of all, phones are fine and are for talking. Everything else is totally unnecessary and a hindrance. Stop doing the WTF & OMG and start making eye contact and communicate. There is nothing wrong with being set in your ways and having standards and self-esteem. It's called maturity and we need more emphasis on that than this age or that age. As old as Donald Trump is, he has never reached maturity. I can't imagine any woman of any age looking at Trump and saying, "I have to have some of that".
