@james eagle I'm not american, but I got that he was doing the Curly when he exited the stage making those whooping sounds :D

Fun fact: I was sitting on the chair where the character Gwendolyn was at. One of the staff came up to me before the sketch and told me to leave the seat so an actor could use it.

I love how Conan acknowledges how dumb his sketches are. It makes them funny on a different level.

They totally can make them stick if they want to. You notice the fake beards never fall off. It's just that a fake mustache falling off is pretty much always funny. I mean we've all seen it a thousand times and we still always laugh. It's probably one of the most durable gags in comedy.

I always forget how tall Conan is until he just towers over another tall guy.

Never seen that sketch before. Loved it. If only life was really like that with humorous, cartoon-ish characters just appearing in everyday life. I wish. Also, it was really funny when the sea captain's moustache came off. "It's not great. I'll grant ya that."
