Thank you for this detailed narration. I will definitely watch it again to keep it top of mind. I watched your Two Oceans video and it was SO accurate that I have no doubt that this one is too. Last year, my race ended in DNF at Pinetown, so I’m certainly looking forward to fetching my medal this time around. The Ultimate Human Race awaits… Love your work!

I’m hoping to come from the uk and run in 2026 to celebrate my 50th year on earth. My mum is South African, I went to Rhodes to study, but I’ve only been back once in the last 20 years. I love South Africa - my grandparents lived in Hillcrest and we’d visit them when we were children . A wonderful experience for pale white English kids!!

Good luck with that. 50 years is a biggie and Comrades is a great way to celebrate that.

Thank you, well articulated. However, one would also appreciate cutoff points along route...🙏🏼

@@jjndz3782 yes, on the downrun, its goes up, theirs only downs after 60km and by then the body is sore and joints are in paid, so its more painful going down hills.. in fact, many people are walking down the hills by then.. on the up run, its about pacing until the top of inchanga.. from their, its good running until little pollys and pollys which people walk up..

@@maboketshabeclement4078 Just an honest mistake...I nearly subbed out of Comrades because of the 100km high climb of Cowies Hill, then I remembered that I actually stay on Cowies Hill:)
