From now on, till Comrades 2022, I will listen to this audio before my early morning runs. On the day of the comrades, I will be so inspired to run to Moses Mabhida🥈

Memories from this time.... (1) seemed like a good idea to get the earliest bus on race morning from Durban, didn't realise just how early this got there, especially compared to later buses (2) good lord it was cold. Yes we have cold days in Australia, we have cold days on race mornings in Australia (Canberra a couple of years ago was 0 degrees), but coupled with the time to get into the start pens (G batch for me) it felt like an eternity just sitting there in warm clothing just waiting. (3) I seriously had no idea that my race would basically end at the Winston Park cutoff (one after Drummond), and in tears in various buses. One day I'll get my revenge after failing to get to the qualifying mark dye to varying injuries for 2022.

I was there and I like the part he says "see you in durban" as if it is just 17 km away.
