Compressed Air Replacement??? Unboxing, Testing & Review

Ғылым және технология

If your looking for a product that has the power of a can of compressed air and an added bonus of a vacuum all housed in one small compact unit, then look no further!
The Opolar Air Duster and Vacuum combo does not disappoint! The powerful duster blasts dust of of surfaces and the suction of the vacuum can get those small messes. And all of that is housed in this one rechargeable unit.
Not only does the cost of having to buy compressed air add up but the performance of the cans also take a toll while using them. The cans get extremely cold (actually frozen) during constant use and you need to let them warm up before using them again. With this Opolar duster there is no downtime except when it needs to be recharged, so what does that mean? Continuous use without having to stop, and if your wondering about the battery life, I've been using this duster for about three weeks and haven't charged it since the first charge after unboxing it.
This is an item that I would definitely recommend if your looking for a solution to buying compressed air cans.

Thank you so much for your review and demo! I was so exasperated by other reviewers just holding it and talking non-stop and didnt even bother to show it in action! The fact that I can see the laptop fan-mount's fan blades spinning while you're blowing it is the best demo of its power! Just ordered one and will be using it to clean my computer, keyboard as well as my bike parts.

Very informative and helpful video - the instructions out of the box leave a bit to be desired, so this is a big plus. I was able to get the smaller brush attachment to attach directly to the unit - just pull out the existing nozzle. I guess you could attach the brush to the nozzle if you want the added extension, but not sure that is how it was designed to be used.

Have you tried the Merkmark Air Duster? It's a recently popular air duster that looks close to Opolar's first air duster, but it seems to come with specs that are much higher. I was wondering if that would be a better duster than Opolar's 2 in 1 since it's more recent.

@@ReggieTECH I asked the question on Amazon and got two replies. The second one is from the seller/company? But I think it's a bit $$$ for the 2 in 1. Answers to your question "Equal, in a sense that this product has a couple settings by pressing twice. On that second press the force of Air is totally capable of removing any dust. Not Equal, in the sense that, it does not have the small diameter straw to create powerful localized bursts of air. I’d go ahead and use the regular Canned Air for the clearing out of Heavy Dust Layers and upkeep with the, still very Powerful but broader nozzled, OPOLAR product. The great secondary part to this product is the Vacuum aspect, this allows you to clean up the left over dust you've created as you cleaned. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers." Alfonso Romero "Dear customer, The 2 in 1 air duster can reach 6000RPMs at its high speed, faster and stronger than another air duster. I hope this helps. If you have any problem, just contact OPOLAR. Regards, OPOLAR," Wendell Hu

Looks like they were lazy on the interface, you must cycle through low and high mode every time you use it. That would be fine if you could press it once for low and double click for high or from low double click to turn it off but it does not register double presses you must wait about a sec before pressing the button again. Or is this just my unit? A simple user interface would be single click to turn on the unit and double click to change speed and a single click turns it off. Memory turns it on at the last speed you used. Other than that we are very impressed with the units capabilities and is much much stronger than the standalone blower with the very nice trigger button (press trigger to turn on them let go it turns off and double click to turn constant on them click to turn off) This company could create a revolutionary product with full user RPM control and different shaped nozzles etc, hopefully they continue improving on this product. I’m very surprised they have no competition. It’s literally an item that every household needs that most don’t have.

It's better to leave it on the blower mode only. Since the intake is the vacuum with a filter, there will be less dust at the blower. Leave the vacuum to the big boys.

I had this duster and it was actually very good when it was working. When i first got it out of the box it had something rattling around inside. I managed to get it out and it was a piece of metal about 3mm long. All was working good until about 1month later and i started to notice the speed of the motor was fluctuating and sometimes when i switched it on it would stutter for a few seconds before actually working properly. After another 2months the motor gave up completely and just stopped whilst i was using it. Even though it was still within the 1 year manufacturers warranty as stated on the box. Opolar refused to do anything about it. Even though it stats in the instruction manual that for all warranty claims you need to contact Opolar. After the first 2 emails i had sent and got replies to they then started completely ignoring my emails. I sent around 4 or 5 emails which i got no reply to at all. So from my personal experience i would AVOID opolar because they dont care about their customers.

Over time, the cheap Chineese made battery that is in this blower will start to de-grade and loose charge. You'll be buying new batteries just like Cans of Air lol I recommend purchasing a compressor/blower that has a electrical cord where you can plug into the wall, you get much more powerfull motors and there is no battery that will go bad over time. In my opinion, this product is Junk.
