Loved watching this, Shaun good leaders always do what you do and try to understand what and how they can do better (thats where real growth comes from) Teddy has that never quit attitude and Braun is just the man, he’s that guy you want and need when you go into battle. Well done gents!

Spotters are your eyes, they have a different perspective of what's going on. Somewhere north of Montreal, there are some great beginner's trail, where experience drivers take the new people for a taste of offroading. Spotters are your guardian angels... Pride will get your hurt, or break your ride. But spotters will save you... that is if you listen to them :)

Braun is the freaking man! Love seeing that old 4runner making the trails look easy with the new Jeeps.
The editing of this series is fenomenal. It really brings out how difficult this was to accomplish. One can feel how tense it got at times, without taking anything away from the beauty of the place. My respect to all of you.
This man has passion in his voice and concern for others and I respect that.
I've done everything from welding to replacing ball joints on the trail, that was a pro level trail repair
Every group needs a Braun to push things, ideally in a 2nd gen 4runner or XJ; and a Teddy to keep everyone grounded.
the fact that you are finding carcasses of trucks that have been by the side of the trail for possibly 40-50 years is nuts. That's history right there too
Looks like the real test of friendship which I hope survived and thrives. Thanks for brining us along!

Those rear bearings suck to change in a garage. Mad props to them for changing them on the trail!!!
It takes a real level headed person/group of guys to really go off road. I like the trials and tribulations. Nothing is easy really going off the grid. Great job guys
Braun's beard came with a pre-installed cigarette 😜
Braun is a beast! Awesome to see his 4runner keep up an out wheel the latest modern offroad vehicles. Even with the hiccups. Braun u the man brudda!
I'm ]oud of you guys for sticking it out! Keep it up fellas!!!
These Alexander Mack Trail videos were defiinitely my favorites so far. Super impressive.
We need to appreciate the fact that Braun replaced a rear wheel bearing on the trail. These are usually removed with a press. An alternative is to slam the axle onto a hard surface to force the bearing out and they probably had to do that here. Not a fun trail repair. Great video Shaun!

This has to be the best overland adventure video I’ve seen. Good job guys!
Incredible, man. My wife and I watched all three of these episodes. Such great videography over a beautiful landscape.
"It was really funny, but not for him". Now that's a true friend. :--)
Braun is friggin G.O.A.T. 🐐
I hope others that may follow your route appreciates all the hard work the three of you put in to make it safer for them.
You and your buddies do such inspirational adventures! If my Toyota T100 4x4 didn’t have 402,000+ miles on it, I would love to drive up from the US to join you guys.
What a great adventure. Seems like one of the best channels left.

Thanks so much for doing the Mac! Been on my bucket list for years. I should go now, since the trail is nicely cleared. That’s a big job!. You guys rock!
Braun is an OG for changing that bearing out in the boonies like that. Hell yeah. What a journey guys.
I’m pretty sure the devil is scared of Braun 😂that man has no fear!
Kudos to you guys, that whole trip was no joke man. wow. 🔥🔥🔥
congrats on completing this trail. Great work.
You guys are some of the most badass explorers that are incredibly well equipped. So when no one had any jumper cables, I have to admit that I was stunned. It made me remember that you guys are normal men doing extraordinary things. This is absolutely one of my favorite KZread channels!

Thanks so much! Yeah we make mistakes sometimes. But we have fun!
There is no bitching on the trail. You drive, clear trails, eat, sleep, etc. - but no complaining. Just be thankful you're not stuck behind a desk all day.
Yeah I hope there's no hard feelings about the sideways hill traverse. From our perspective it all looked fine, Teddy's concerns made sense, definitely understandable- it was a tense situation, mosquitos were biting, people were tired. I think the most important thing aside from preserving life and vehicles is that nobody feels bad about speaking up in a time like that, if you're really at risk no one will appreciate that more than yourself. Going on adventures is accepting risk but you have to do what makes sense for you and make sure you get yourself home safe, even if others don't see it quite that way at the time.

There was never any tension between us, just a tense situation.
This had me at the edge of my seat. I have watched some of your trips but this one took the cake for me. SKETCHY isn’t the word for it…downright deadly. Glad you all made it out alive. ❤️🤗🙏
This is the best movie I’ve ever seen. Braun is the man.
This is by far the coolest series you've done, and one of the best in the business! Big respect!
You guys did some solid work getting that trail passable! Nice!
Outstanding trip video. You didn't try to sale me any type of gear along the way and just let me emerge myself into your trip. I just put my feet up and enjoyed it very much. Thanks for posting the videos. Hope to see you on the road someday.
The most impressive part is that Braun swapped a rear Toyota wheel barring on the trail it took me a torch and a press to get mine out in a shop
Congratulations on completing the trail! It's crazy to think you guys actually accomplished such a technical feat. The beginning of this video is a good reminder to all of us who overland and explore roads all over the world to make sure that we are keeping each other in check and safe during trips like those. These videos and previous ones inspired me and some friends a year ago to start exploring logging roads in Montana and it has been absolutely amazing. You guys also have lots of helpful tips throughout your videos which is a huge blessing. Thank you for all of your knowledge sharing and for taking us on this adventure with you.
This channel is very underrated. I had a great time watching these videos. I hope to one day be able to do this kind thing with my friends. Keep up the great work.
These just keep getting better! Keep ‘em coming!
Looks like one hell of an adventure. Thanks for showing us!
You should do more long trips like these ... I love it man. Best video series 👌
guy in red toyota is beast. he just sends it!
Glad you guys finished it. I want to hit the Mackenzie badly, but I doubt that it will ever happen. I'll have to be content to experience it vicariously through guys like you all and XO.
I ran a bad wheel bearing on the left rear of my Toyota for months. Thought it was tire noise. Then I changed tires. It wasn’t easy replacing that bearing, even in a shop. It was missing a few ball bearings, don’t know where they went 😅. Weren’t in the diff as far as I could tell. That guy Braun is a talented man to fix that in the woods.

@@TheStoryTillNow it’s amazing how far I got like that. I drove 3500 miles round trip to the Rockies on that bearing, and replaced it later that fall. I’m so glad it didn’t fail on the road, that would have really messed up the family trip! Toyota: letting owners down since 199Never.
Great trip, congratulations on completing it. Good thoughts on your part about being a trail leader. It's tough to assess the skill level of people, they tend to overstate their real experience levels. In my younger years, I used to do some informal guiding but quit doing it except with friends after some close calls putting the group at risk. Keep up the great work. It's very cool following along without having to fight the bugs and manhandle the chainsaw. And tell teddy to get a real topper with sides. It works well keeping all your gear in the truck. :-) Looking forward to the next adventure. Very curious about how the Volvo does on the trail.
Congratulations on finishing that trail. Not going to lie, on the last video I thought that was it for yall.
Props to you guys for slogging through this! Very impressive and good teamwork!

Massive RESPECT for you three for what you made happen. Massive RESPECT, for ALL 3 ALWAYS from here on out...I'm not going to be like others and say one person's contribution out played another's because that's not what I saw. I saw an amazing TEAM effort. It takes at least three legs for a table to stand and all three legs of your table were strong and you all get to sit and drink wine on that mesa. A hell of a great 3 part vid in which I very much enjoyed. Excellent job guys! much props! : "Everything you've ever wanted is one step outside your comfort zone".

But watching you guys conquer the Mackenzie trail, it's like lightyears from what I experienced... And can't even begin to dream about what you guys felt at the end of this journey.
