Though I am truly delighted that you allowed the homeowner to pick out her colors and you did a great job painting,it was difficult for me to get past how “dark” the kitchen looked afterwards, if I were depressed I suspect that I would go for light, bright and sunny and maybe some living, growing green things? Good thing that we are all different and a very good thing that we should want the best for others, especially those who struggle with sadness and melancholia, kindness is everything!❤

We all need to be sneaky sometimes. My cat somehow always knows when I'm thinking of eating snacks.. Shadow cat demands his cat tax every time. He will sniff the air to decide if I have something cat friendly or will give me pusscat eyes to give him a few of his treats. The description of noises made me laugh so loud I woke Shadow up and now I need to pay the tax.

@@dotcassilles1488😂😂 Tu'vok and Tinkerhell love honey peanut butter so much that they now comes running if they even sense I'm getting a spoon. I eat a couple spoonfuls nearly everyday (my own jar so no worries about double dipping lol) and they get about a quarter sized dollop. Their 3 brothers don't really care for peanut butter and that's probably a huge blessing - I don't think I would be able to survive doing anything other than opening the jar for them if all 5 descended on me at once for it 😂

I understand you're motivation more than most people, I think. As a hairdresser, my favorite service was when someone would bring in their mother or granny in a wheelchair. Someone who was dealing with health issues and had given up on their looks, never expecting to look presentable again. Gray, sparse thinning hair, usually ragged and overlong. In short, neglected. To see their faces when they saw themselves transformed still brings a tear to my eye. They suddenly had a look of interest, and -dare I say it? Pride. Often this would take place before a family event - a wedding or special birthday. To see how they were suddenly glad to appear in pictures, and looking forward to the event, was so heart-warming, - and the best use of my talent, in my opinion. Your videos give my that same feeling - subscribed!

We’re here calling you Johnny Freehand Paint in North Carolina now. 2- I absolutely hate these paint colors together-and I *adore* that. I’m soooo tired of houses being painted greige with the personality of a hotel lobby. I hope this kitchen in HER colors brings her an explosion of joy every time she walks into it, and I hope having a lovely, safe kitchen makes it easier for both of them to take care of themselves. Ive been able to cook more because the kitchen is coming under control! No takeout! Instead this weekend we had marinated pork belly with vegetables and udon noodles and for dinner the next day shrimp salad. The more I clean the happier everyone else has been! We found the kitchen floor! I have nothing in there! My autistic son took the Swiffer parts so I bought another mop! I’m so thrill to see the floor! And you should never pull out a stove to clean! I did once because a rodent got behind it! The connector developed a hairline crack and was leaking gas! The gas company 😊stated that it was lucky my place was so old that the windows had leaks because the air saved us! Everyone is terrified that I will clean up and they won’t know their house! I’m also getting repairs done but unfortunately after Christmas but all good things come to those who wait! Thanks for the inspiration! ❤

Cleaning behind a stove, range is needed. Lots of spills , crumbs will attract mice. Old gas lines are what break. Odorant is added to gas, as well. Maintain and replace the short section between valve and appliance. It's very reasonable to do, and keep floors, walls, sides of appliances clean. He's a business, and can't be taking the risk accused of issues. As a homeowner, you can definitely repair, and clean behind a stove or appliance. Call repair people as needed.

Before we painted, we washed everything down as part of our prep work. To our astonishment, once the walls were clean, they looked great and we didn't even have to paint! It was unbelievable how much of the dark, drab look to our house was absolutely nothing but years of smoking! I can't wait to see the "after" picture of this house you are transforming. It is one of my life's biggest disappointments that because you live in the Midwest and I live in the South, I will never be able to see your butt wall. When I was an adolescent, my grandma's longtime tenant passed away and after her son moved out of the apartment, we needed to get it ready for the next tenant. The tenant had been a smoker and when we walked through the apartment to survey the work that needed to be done, you could see white spots on the wall where the pictures were because everything around them was a yellowish-brown color. This is a vivid memory for me because no one in my biological family smoked (my hubby does, but he goes outside to do that), so to see this was a shock. The painter cleaned the walls and painted them, but the apartment would continue to stink like tobacco for some time before it finally went away.

I love the colors! It does remind me of the time my parents couldnt agree on a color for their cabinets, so dad took a piece of the box of a 24 pack of mountain dew to the paint store and color matched the greens and painted the kitchen cabinets mountain dew green. I think mom eventually wanted to paint the cabinets a dusty blue, but having mountain dew cabinets helped her along in deciding!

Sometimes when a person gets overwhelmed with major setbacks, etc. it's very easy to slip into a depression & the "I don't care" mode & just give up, & that's how some hones get run down....maybe with your help cleaning, fixing, redecorating, it will give them motivation & pride to keep it looking good....I grew up in a home that was VERY old & in need of repairs, we had very little monetary but the one thing my mom always said if you pick up, clean up then you won't notice the little things....the size & the newest & best of everything doesn't make a home...some of the happiest homes have the least in extras, but have the most of what is needed.

First, I'm genuinely impressed. For somebody who isn't a painter mainly, you're a damn good painter. I'm also very impressed with the fact that you took like an art brush to get the detail work done on her cabinet doors. Like, I would never have done that, because I would have never thought to, but also it's very fiddly. I'm guessing you didn't question it once. Also, I love the color scheme sincerely. I love the color green, plus it's Christmas, so it's Christmas in Killarney! 🍀 Lastly, you are not an idiot, and I don't want to hear that kind of talk. I mean it. I'll fight you. I'm not that far from you. You don't deserve to be talked to that way, and if you do it again I'm not even going to bring in the spin kick, I'm just going to drag and kick you like Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat.

One suggestion--next time someone chooses two colors for a kitchen, use the darker color on the bottom cabinets and the lighter color on the top cabinets ( a lot less trim tedium and more stylish and updated).
