Completely Honest Review - Kumail's Handling Monster 2001 Toyota Yaris T-Sport 1.5 VVTI

In this video, I review Kumail's 2001 Toyota Yaris T-Sport. This car is set-up to be a handling monster of a track toy! In this video, we go over the specs, mods and future plans of his car. I also compare his set-up to my pretty standard Yaris T-Sport. I hope you enjoy this video.

I had the 01 model same colour which I bought brand new! Had it 7 yrs longest car I've ever had! It was an incredible machine! Never let me down! Quick sure and yet I never got less than 38mpg out of it! When pushed! Average normal driving easily 45mpg! Great review 👌👏 mate!

I only watch llf, officially gassed & car wow. Believe it or not I ended up watching the full video. Quite enjoyed it, first video I’ve seen on a Yaris T Sport. More of an affordable, realistic & everyday car. Fair play to you & Good luck on your future videos!

Nice to see how Kumail's P1 TSport compares to my own. I bet his car is a lot easier to drive on public roads than my P1+. Mine is fully modified for the Nurburgring, including gutting the interior, a half-cage and coilovers and other fairly extensive suspension mods and other goodies. That impacted daily drivability quite a bit but it's not my everyday car so I can fully enjoy the handling without being annoyed about the harshness and discomfort everyday. I guess Kumail's car still is, maybe besides the (awesome) noise, perfectly usable for everyday driving. (If you're looking into improving audio quality, a Zoom H4N recorder with two collar mics from eBay isn't that expensive but it will massively improve the audio when inside the car or in windy conditions.)

@@ZGVlogs I bough mine a couple of years ago and I'm afraid the shop link from my very old order confirmation is dead. But I think any 3.5mm collar mic will do. :) By the way, if you you're looking into buying a Whiteline ARB for your TSport I'd like to suggest buying a Cusco 4-point front subframe brace (or Edd Hamilton YCUK replica) too. A Whiteline rear ARB plus that front subframe brace literally transforms the car. Turn-in responsiveness improves massively with it. I daily drove that combination for three years and 20K+ miles/year and I loved it, even without additional suspension mods besides brand new Bilstein dampers on my old 1.3 Yaris. My current TSport also has that front brace and it really is the most impactful mod you can make to a Yaris with only twenty minutes of work.

@@akamsteeg Odd isn't it, how people say noise can sound good ? The word noise has a negative connotation, generally meaning a sound that isn't very pleasant to listen to. Honestly, that exhaust does not sound nice. It is too loud, not refined, and sounds really "farty". It really is noise, not sound. Nothing against Kumail, he seems like a really down to earth person who knows what they're talking about. The thing about 4 cylinders, is the intake noise. He should add a high flow cat and a muffler, fit a real cold air intake, potted manifold, hell even better, some Individual Throttle Bodies from a 20V 4AGE. That sounds amazing. Not some fart can + straight pipe combo. Each to their own I guess!

Nice to see Kumail's car - guessing it's the Whiteline ARB that makes the biggest difference between your one and his! Cool video anyway (shame you didn't race against your one for a quick blast).

Sorry to say, that exhaust sounds awful. The car is pretty nice otherwise, not really a fan of the RS badge and the removal of the Toyota emblem. Each to their own I guess. Looks like it handles great though.

@@ZGVlogs Yeah I guess it does sound different on video. Still, the good sounding part of a 4 cylinder engine is the intake sound. A quiet exhaust with an open cone intake, that's the good stuff.
