05:58 most likely Chris never laid off lifting after defeating Wesker and kept weight training faithfully. Overhead-pressing 80 kg humanoid mutant is just pure badassery of the highest level, like GODDAMN. That overhead press throw that Chris does for front head attacks always fascinates me.

Chris also has a special stabbing animation when you press down on the stick and RT at the same time. He jabs at enemies with his knife instead of slashing, and can repeat it over and over.

Also if you counter as chris while holding his knife, he will stab them in the chest.

While aiming to slash with the knife, press the left analog stick back and R1 at the same time and Chirs/Leon/Agent will stab with the knife instead of slashing. I don't know if the stab does more damage per hit but it's much faster so it has higher DPS.

Fun fact: Jake Muller was around 6-7 years old when the RC incident happened in 1998. And in RE6, he took the serum alongside his mercenaries; but he alone gained superhuman abilities due to Wesker's DNA.

@@TemplarShad0w actually, he doesn't have Superhuman strength at all. He's just skilled from his time as a mercenary. The serum he took didn't even affect him, his DNA from wesker acted as a sort of antibody to defend against the mutation. It's why we don't see him do anything like lift huge rockets like his Papa.

@@KirbyJet14 exactly, and that’s honestly the natural progression, Chris, Jill, Leon and Claire might have been way above their heads in the first installments, but by the time this game takes place destroying B.O.W’s is their daylight job, same thing happened in dead space, Issac has to become better at killing necromorphs and has to start using military grade equipment, otherwise his character has no development, that’s what happens when you make sequels to a horror game with weapons, after a while you can’t make them scary because you know you can, with enough ammo, tear anything apart.

It's my favorite of the series and I played them all except Operation Raccoon and Umbrella Corps. This game pays a lot of homage to every entry that came before it, while featuring addicting gameplay. I always have a blast playing this game.

I think that is a stealth kill, where an enemy walks up to a wall you are taking cover on and you get the from around the corner.

Yea any character can do that move if they are behind cover (like round the corner in cover mode) a prompt will appear they'll immediately get grabbed, kneed in the stomach, and have their neck snapped

This is a part of RE6 I really liked, to be honest. Despite the horror origins, I like all the cheesy flair of 4, 5 and 6, even though they went way overboard in some aspects, like too many explosions and too much military TPS cover shooter stuff in 6. The thing RE4 gets that 5 and 6 didn't is that RE4 doesn't take itself seriously at all. It feels like a cheesy action movie and it knows it. Neat detail is that the creepy moments have little to no dialogue, not even a reaction from Leon. Regenerators, for example, are creepy and the game doesn't need to tell us that.

@@kiloklavdi1185 Agreed. The "problem" with 6 is the overabundance of explosions and QTEs, really. The military theme can very much be used to escalate the situation without losing the horror aspect and the climax can (and probably should) be more action-focused, especially since the whole horror theme depends on the sense of desperation and urgency. My guess is that REmake 5 (if it happens) and it's reception will shape if and how a REmake 6 would play out. Given how serious the series and it's characters are getting, I doubt REmake 6 would be a Michael Bay movie with zombies and mutant dinosaurs.

I like it. This the kind of game you get when you have a lot of powerhouse characters all in one game. Running away and hiding with characters like Chris, Leon, and Jake doesn't suit them at all. This is a good game, but definitely not survival horror.

@@Twisted_Tempest And that's why the next game featured a completely new character to the series, oblivious to all that bioterrorism shit, and the next games are remakes of older games Capcom doesn't know how to proceed with the series after the death of Wesker, and after making the characters so powerful inside it's universe, the scale of things on RE6 is just too damn great, it will be hard to make a bigger one and they know it

It's like comparing apples and pears, each has its own qualities but you can't say that one of these fruits fucks up the fruit salad that the re franchise is

Wow... i really need help here. Im playing RE6 again, and i cant seem to be able to do the Quick Shot with Sherry(I changed the control settings and so L1 and R1 dont seem to work). I can only do the sliding move and roll on the side as she is on her back. I dont know how to jump and land on my back just like that as i am standing. I can do it when im running but just jump back to land on her back, idk. I dont know if we can only do those things with the Default controls, but if thats the case, pls someone let me know. Thank you very much in advance.

There is that yeah. But Aya does a one-handed cartwheel in high heels to shoot a guy with an exploding arrow. That's way more impressive (and kind of stupid in an awesome way).

That's pretty much my take on it. Yeah, it's lost some of the survival-horror feel for action-horror, and that's kind of sad for the series that popularized that genre (and spawned God knows how many clones) but it is what it is.
