You would not believe how asked for this topic was!! I’m so happy I could make this video.
This is SO helpful. I feel like so many run plans you find online start with a ton of running and don't provide enough context and flexibility. This feels so doable and yet like it would get you ready for a half. Awesome.

Yay! Thank you!
Holly I can’t thank you enough for this. So well structured and aptly delivered. I appreciate how you’ve covered the mental as well as the physical challenges of running. I’ll be back to thank you again when I run my first half marathon. It is 4 months away and I was feeling a little anxious about it but I know I can do and I want to prove it to myself. Thank you

So happy to help you!! Please keep me posted. You'll be great in your first half!
Omg thank you so much for this! I've been running for a year but have had trouble with sticking to a good routine/plan, dealt with injuries and didn't have the strength training component. I'm so grateful for this video and you laying it out like this. 🙏❤️🔥🏃♀️

@@starsharp3500 - totally agreed. Holly’s content is amazing. She is so much more authentic than a lot of fitness and health KZreadrs.
I’m 250 pounds and I’m running my first 50 miler in two weeks. Yes, I’m a back of the packer 😅.

@@sarahkaltenecker I finished in 14:15! It was gnarly for sure but I knew it wouldn’t be a walk in the park. No injuries. Took some time off and looking to get back to higher mileage adventures, but dealing with injuries unrelated to running. Thanks for inquiring!
Yup I will definitely have to come back to watch again and write things down. Tons of great information. I used to think I was drinking enough until I figured out my headaches and some other symptoms were because I was dehydrated. Then I installed an app to remind myself to drink and wow was I way off in how much I thought I was drinking to how much I actually need to drink.

@@gofarsogood Went on a 30-minute walk today. Pushed through the discomfort in the middle. To my surprise, I was even able to run for 2 minutes straight at the end. Feeling great. Thanks again for such amazing content. Keep posting.
So I'm a reasonably experience "athlete" but it's good to reminded of things - like even you are out of breath and it hurts that you are okay. That's something I'm going to tell myself from now on.

It's hard for me to do the walk/run. So, I just run and stop at the water stations. I always try some of the exercises that you suggest and they for me. Thanks.
