Great vid! What is the formal way of saying Ciao?
Love the way you teach your language. So expressive and so much clarity
I love this, very practical. Grazie.
Thank you so much for going slow through the greetings. It was wonderful to here how and under what circumstance each greeting should be used. Yes, your bonus tip is spot on. We have family in Italy and that is a standard greeting both hello and good-bye.
Thank u very helpful. I've never been to Italy but from what I've seen on KZread Italians seem very down to earth people. They come off as polite & kind.
That was an excellent explanation of giorno vs giornata. It's the same in French with jour and journée and while I got it intuitively, I wasn't sure how to explain it. Spanish even has día and jornada, though not used quite the same way! Loving your content and hope to learn much more Italian!
Love your Italian, Bravo. From Ontario, Canada
Very good teacher. Very articulate.
Your class is too good, love to learn more. ✌️👍👌
Your teaching is so clear, I agree with all the other comments. Thank you so much! I am from Florida USA and I want to move to Italy one day, I have always been in love.
Italian the most beautiful language. Well explained.
You are so fun to watch and make the beautiful Italian language seem so easy!
Your explanations are GREAT! I really learn so much more than just the words - I learn how and when to use them. Thank you for that!
This was very helpful thank you!

I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO FIRE GRAZIE FOR MAKING VIDEOS CYA
You are a really good teacher. I appreciate your classes. I know Spanish well, but to me. I find Italian a bit more difficult...at least for now. i know it's not difficult for you, lol. For example, I forgot that sir is signore and not signor....I kind of mixed Spanish with Italian because sir in Spanish is senor. Actually, the Spanish n looks like this ñ. I am a little shy in speaking Italian. Hopefully, by next month, I will be less shy. Suki

I learnt salve in Latin classes in the 70s……I can use it!
hope to learn more
Kisses to you. Love love your classes.
Wow, I am learning Italian and I was taught tha ArrivederCi is informal with your friends, family and ArrivederLa is the formal version…it is always useful to listen to a native speaker!

Absolutely not! Who taught you that? 😂 I would say “arrivederci” is formal and “arrivederla” is extra formal. We would never use “arrivederci” with friends or family. I would use it for example when exiting a shop or hanging up a call with somebody I don’t know. It’s good you stumbled on my video :)

Your lesson was perfect. As a Chilean the rolling of the R's and every letter matters... this is educational. I appreciate you including the formal format. I'm going to Italy for the first time this coming Nov. Thanks! 😊

You said friends don’t use arrivederci , so what do they use to say good bye ?
i think when u see a person , u say buongiorno. then when u say bye u say buona giornata
I baci sulla guancia - the kiss on the cheek. Would you say your cheeks meet and your mouth kisses in the air? From your explanation I seem to gather that you do not really kiss with your mouth on the cheek, right? Please explain!
How do you say goodbye to a friend ? I’d it “ ciao” ? Is that the official casual goodbye ?
What is the significance of right to left?

So the Italians also do "la bise". :) Do you always start with the right side? (left cheek)
What is the difference between ‘arrivederci’ and ‘arrivederLa’ ?
Professore Stefano: perché qualcuno dire "buongiorno" alle pomeriggio? avere una regola per questa domanda? Ho stato a Millano nel´ultimo giugnio e non capisco. Scusa mio italiano. Grazie.

What an odd coincidence; "Chao" or "Xin chao" is Vietnamese for Hi/Bye. --Old Guy
Arrivederci e formale o informale ... ArrivederLa e la forma formale .

Sometimes he rolls the R’s so much, other times hardly at all.
Keep the phrases longer on the screen so people can repeat them while you are explaining!
Do you also baci work colleagues you meet for the first time in real life? This is under the case that you have already met them virtually lol

You know, Romanian and Italian are basically the same language 😂 Un italiano vero* 0:46
Inoltre non mi sento a mio agio ad abbraciare persone che non conosco .Mi sento falso . a meno che non ci sia un motivo per farlo .
O you learn to roll your r😢
Too much English
We do the cheek kisses too in middle east 😂🤍
Too much emphasis on using greetings based upon positions ... not my type of language ... going to learn Czech
