There’s a Russian nuclear reprocessing plant in the Ural Mountains by the name of Mayak. I really think this will be one of the future maps. I believe this because the magaton overlord is named Mayak, and RofflWaffles said that there is another breach in the Urals which is as I mentioned the location of Mayak. It is similar to Chernobyl as there was an explosion in the 50’s. I know it’s not the same timeframe but Treyarch can make it happen.

Not really. She gets off the helicopter sent by americans and has americans talking to her and tell her to shut it off lol. I dunno what other teams is about tbh i think that was just more a reference how they thought they could still be omega group there guarding. Like when it mentions later there could be someone still inside watch out. The person your playing in the map isn't supposed make sense nor be the cannon person. aka why they just have generic lines too. It was just simply done so people can play there character they cross modes. They may however include characters who will be cannon to the actually map and have lines for that map but no doubt they will be able to be played on all maps, and cross modes.

The chaos story was pretty good dude. Bo4 zombies is just way easier. I feel like cw zombies is in between normal and hard-core on bo4. The challenge is funner but the story was pretty good in chaos regardless. The whole mystery of who Alistair Rhoads was and why/how he made that pistol in dead of the night, and the fact you play as his daughter, etc etc how can say an unfinished story is better than a complete story? Lol

I love how you can just jump down a whole floor to avoid getting pinched now.

Not necessarily true. The Waffen SS (essentially Nazi soldiers) and the Wehrmacht were two separate entities in the 3rd Reich. Although a project such as Endstation would likely be supervised by the SS, a lot of the zombies are actually just Wehrmacht regulars. I’d reach out and say, from how he looks, that he’s perhaps not a Nazi. Just an unlucky cog in the waning German war machine. I’m sorry, I just had to ramble and get that out of my head. Rest in piece, Walter.

Most of the soldiers in the german Wehrmacht are peopel that got draftet even by force from the goverment. Imagen you know thers alot of horrebile things going on, you kow it is bad and you know it is wrong to fight but you have to obey or they will harm your family. The Wehrmachtsoldiers are victims and today many are pissing on ther graves because they stayd at the wrong side at the wrong time.

Sammmmmmmeeeeeeee Its probably going to be less mystical, less magical, and more sciencey. Not like a theres bigger purpose to zombies universe-watchers, demons, spirits, good vs evil. More likely, let's just get to the bottom of this and stop it. And whats going to happen, the further we reach to the source...the more horrifying and ugly science and our weapons are going to get. Also more fun :)

That moment when the first part of the video is him telling us about how good the game looks because of his amazing computer build but I can only watch in 480p because of my awful internet.

Two questions: One, how are the zombies not attacking you when you are doing the anomalies? And two, who is Mayak? The megaton in the Dark Aether.

I genuinely think this is a hint as to what’s to come in the future of CW zombies. There’s a nuclear reprocessing plant in the Urals named Mayak and the character himself is a massive red irradiated glob. When Mayak exploded in the 50’s the glow of the explosion was a deep reddish orange cause of the radioactive isotopes in the air. On top of all this RofflWaffles mentions a rift in the Urals. This only strengthened my theory

YO MILO, this was brilliant. I absolutely loved it and it makes me love the map more than I already did, which to be fair was quite a lot. Given they talk about opening breaches globally I’m hoping that means we will have more dark aether in future maps, hoping they have a little more too it aswell. GREAT JOB, please keep it up for future maps

The voice acting that Orlov has. Absolutely incredible. I am so happy to hear such great work in this game.

I’ve got to say after all my high rounds and every level of PS5/PS4. He as truly showed me how to get better. I’ve gotten to 100+ because of this guy in every single game I play. I feel like if anything this dude had shown me what is it is to be a high round player and he is one of the best to get straight to the point. Much props to him!

Finally. Something that puts it all together. I actually love where this story is heading. I've stopped playing zombies after bo3 so I haven't even touched this game. It's too much for me at this point but I do like to stay up to date on the story line so this video helped an awful lot thanks Milo!

it’s hella cool that we get to be so connected to the story and we can feel sympathy for the characters, even tho i prefer gameplay but i like the gameplay even more

One question, who is the megaton overlord you see upon entering the dark aether? And is there a backstory on him?

Most likely another soldier sent into the dark aether that was corrupted and is now trapped in the dark aether “eternally damned”

Everything else about cold war is still horrible

I love the idea of the boss being an important character within the story. Imagine if something like this happened on Zetsubo No Shima. No longer having to deal with the Plant monsters if you get far enough through the easter egg

First time I saw mayak I already knew about the whole ee and started thinking “why not use this guy on that machine in the medical area instead of the regular megaton”... but then I killed him and it didnt splitted...

No one talking about this doctor Peck? He does not sound Russian at all. He also speaks of "The Red Army" instead of "us" or "we" (30:50) Usa or UK involved? Or this voice actor doesn't even want to try a Russian accent.

I think he is an american who was working for the Russians, especially when he talks about “I guess you can’t teach an old Soviet new tricks” I don’t think someone who is Russian would say that, and I feel he is most likely not Russian but is working for them as a scientist so that they can comprehend the machine

I have an idea on how 115 comes into this In the OG timeline, apothicons sent 115 to earth where it could be used from the deposits so it’s pretty easy to destroy everything. After TDT though, 115 doesn’t exist like that. You’d have to make it how we do in the real world. Particle accelerators smash atoms together and create heavy elements that don’t appear naturally in the universe. By artificially creating 115, they opened the rift to the dark aether where 115 is probably hugely abundant

I never really paid attention to the stories of Zombies, but since i started to look into its dope and super interesting

I thank you for this video, even if I am 3 years late. I recently started playing Cold War, and happened to see the cut scene in the extras tab or whatever you want to call and, and played my first match in the map just before watching this. Whenever I play games that tell a hidden story, I get super exited and do my best to figure it out... Usually because I'm a few years late to the party xDD

Other soldiers that were contaminated by the portal. It seems like instead of element 115 turning people to zombies, it was exposure to the dark aether.

@@andrewdoerr7550 or the rifts from the dark aether are radiating element 115. And thats actually where the element came from was the dark aether, rather than comets from the sky.

Element 115 was sent to earth by the shadow man in the hopes someone would find it and use it to create a portal (dr maxis and dr richtofen) so he and his army could escape the dark aether after Dr monty had trapped them there using the MPD (back in the black ops 1 + 2 days) there’s already an army of “creatures” made by monty and the shadow man (the Great War) dr maxis used 115 to make the undead, so yeah 115 creates zombies but the portals grant access to the let’s say “creatures”, also anyone that uses a aether portal also becomes linked to the aether
