"philip-pinos" (for king of spain) was a word created by the spanish to call the people living in that archipelago 500yrs ago. the settlers there are austronesians, eatas and chinese.. sooo being a filipino means from that archipelago. or heart of filipino means loving that archipelago sure i guess you can call her filipino

Maybe shes not able to empress the judges with her acting skill that time but if you watch the whole SCQ season 1 even when she is just improving her skills as an artist the judges is already hook in her she brings the jolly ,sweet vibe, and wholesomeness and in this country those are the qualities that will made you a star. Pilipinos instantly love her during the competition and even until now

To be honest, if my memory serves me right, one of the biggest reasons why sumikat si Sandara and si Hero Angeles was because they looked like the SCQ version of Meteor Garden's Shan Cai and Hua Ce Lei. Masyadong sikat ang Meteor Garden that time and nung lumabas si Sandy and si Hero, perfect timing kasi in love na in love pa ang mga Pilipino sa Meteor Garden noon kaya nakuha nila agad ang puso ng buong sambayanan.
